We just love it up there. We have gotten to know many of the locals over our camping years. The staff was always kind and friendly.

a few reasons for this rating, first of all the spots we rented were full hookup, the sewer port in the ground was so inconveniently placed that we couldnt even reach it to use it . second, reason was that out friends spot #107 next to us the ground was so soft that as soon as they backed their motorhome in they got stuck and couldnt move, so sunday when its time to leave it was a nightmare. he had to jack his motorhome up and put wood under the tiires and we all had to push while he barely made it out of the spot. 3rd reason while we were all sleeping saturday night someone stole our cooler from us and luckily the neighbor had noticed it hidden behind the dumpsters on the other side of the campground and it was empty. One last complaint is more towards campspot , we all have yearly parking passes for missaukee county and any time we book on campspot we are charged $5 a day for parking and our pass covers all parking. so we have to hassle with getting a refund. there should be some type of an option for ppl that already have the pass so they dont have to pay when checking out.

We always enjoy our stay at the Lake Missaukee County Campground. The amenities and facilities are nice and the employees are nice and helpful.

My entire family (8 sites) always enjoys staying at the campground. The facilities are nice and well maintained and the employees are always helpful and nice.

Clean campground right next to the park that is next to Lake Missaulee Sites are narrow but long. Our site was extremely uneven and we were not able to properly level our trailer. Tree roots in the site too. Lots of seasonal sites. Coin operated showers. Walking distance to Lake City for pizza, coffee, etc.

We love this campground because it has so much to do for the kids and it is a very clean park along with the beach is very clean.

Full hook-ups and close to our event.

Love, love camping here. Next year we are going to come for 2 weeks. The amenities were awesome and so were all the campers!!

We had a great time- the park was nice and the lake is beautiful!

Campsite was uneven and too close to neighbor, with many exposed tree roots that were hard to walk around. Also, they did not enforce the noise/quiet time rules.

For the price paid, the campsite was a little small. Our site had a very slight slope but was fairly shaded with mature trees. The beach was very clean, and the water stayed shallow for quite a way. Good beach for families with small children. The campground did butt up to a neighborhood, so quiet time for the park was hard to enforce. There was a car parade around the lake that was enjoyable to many, and someone had a live band that night. Could have done without the drunken karaoke the following night.

Sites to close together and having to pay for showers not ideal.

Campsites are crammed together, almost impossible to park your camper. We only had 8 ft or so for kids to enjoy our site.

Beautiful lake, and nice little town. Had a great time with family. Very busy campground on the weekends. I did not like that they are installing electric meters for next season and have quarter operated showers.
