We were just passing through and going to stay overnight, but the campground and town of Montrose were so amazing that we booked a second night and stayed another day. Campground was quiet and had clean bathrooms and showers. Camp host was friendly very helpful in adding our second day. If you're just passing through or want to stay couple days, this is a great place to stay.

The city roads are awful and there is no amenities, restaurants etc nearby and we saw no campground host or anyone. It was quiet and we had no issues.

Everything was fine but for a 50amp power pole issue which I was able to overcome. Sent a report on it to the reservation site.

Nice, clean, reasonably priced campground right on the edge of town. Very friendly and helpful hosts greeted me immediately upon arrival. Quiet night and good sleep. I'd stay here again.

Nice little city campground. Ideal spot off the interstate for an overnight stay. and pretty easy to get into with our 35' fifth wheel. Water and 50 amp service. they do have a dump station but we did not use it. The campground host was very friendly and gave us an extra washer for the water hookup....he said it will leak some. Maybe the city can address this issue? We walked into town (very short distance) and went to Web's Pub. We talked with a very nice bartender, had a few drinks and ate their homemade pizza which was incredible. We would stay here again.

This was a great city owned campground. It was very clean and well maintained. Bathroom was clean and showers were hot. We would definitely stay here again!!

Overall a very nice campground in a quaint Midwest town. Love that it is in a city park with a pool and playground. Our site faced the river and was quiet and peaceful. We took a nice walk along the river and through part of the town. We were greeted by the campground host who gave us a brochure on South Dakota and was very helpful. The bathhouse was impeccable and very nice.
