The perfect overnight spot!!! We will stay again

It was easy to find and peaceful.

Nice city campground. Enjoyed our stay. Clean facilities and well maintained. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Peaceful, small, well maintained park with lots of green grass and trees. So quiet at night. Easy access for.our 42' fifth wheel. We'd stay there again. Thanks for having us!

The actual campsite was good, with green grass and trees. The night sky is filled with stars. The area is very quiet. The bathroom was scary. It is housed in a cinder brick building, with open walkways between the men and women showers. No doors or locks between the men's side and the women's side. I did not feel safe. The showers have curtains, and the water runs onto the bathroom floor, so the floors are always wet. It appears that several, maybe half of the trailers house permanent residents.

Nice bathroom, lots of street lights we either zipped up our canvas and we’re hot or had light in our eyes. There was an “outhouse odor”, not much shade. But for the price, we got there late had electricity and shower, slept, left early

Clean, quiet, and convenient .

This is a cute little campground that has a variety of site options. We stayed 2 nights and found the camp host to be friendly and helpful, while the sites & facilities were clean and tidy.

We were there for a short stay but everything was great.

Nice, well maintained campground. The only downgrade is for a crappy (pun intended) dump station. It consists of a simple drain pipe stuck in tall grass with no catch basin and a rinse water source 20 feet away with no hose! Way to make a lousy task even lousier. This could be easily improved.

Easy to find, quick in and out site, the pool looked very nice though we only needed the site for an overnight. Caution the dips on the roadway to the campground.

Nice campground. We didn’t see much because we were just in for 1 night.

On the plus side it was quiet with decent spaces between most sites. Plenty of trash receptacles. On the negative side, bathroom needs overhaul. No divider between male & female bathrooms. Only one working shower and the wooden stool appeared slimy at the bottom. Prior campers had not cleaned up after their dogs and many sticks and branches from prior storm.

Beautiful area. Friendly & helpful camp hosts. Allowed us to park our pickup under a shelter during a storm.

Our reserved campsite was occupied . Website Sid there were 12 sites available there were 2. Camp host would not answer door. Felt unsafe on campground. Many people occupying sites without paying.

Old bathrooms our spot was really a road .

Clean and comfortable. Nicely kept campground. Be sure to check out The Porter Sculpture Park while you’re in the area.

Montrose Campground was a perfect spot for our one night stopover. We were in site 14 which had some shade as mentioned on CampSpot. The Vermillion River runs along the edge of the campground. We enjoyed stretching our leg with a walk along the river. After the community pool closed, the park was completely quiet—which might be my favorite feature.
