Moonshine Creek Campground — Reviews

It was a beautiful campground that was well maintained and clean. There were no distractions just the beautiful scenery and wonderful hosts. The perfect place to come camp either in a tent or camper.

Enjoyed our stay at moonshine Creek Campground so very much! We loved being able to visit the downtown areas of the surrounding towns. We also saw some beautiful Fall Foliage by getting on the Blue Ridge Parkway and getting to a higher altitude. We spent one day just lazying at the camper with the creek in our back yard. The employees are so helpful and friendly!

We absolutely LOVED your sweet campground! It was so beautiful. Clean, really well maintained, and thoughtfully landscaped. The guest services and crew were so helpful and friendly… we would definitely recommend and return!

Beautiful site, Waterfall tent site. Bathrooms and showers are wonderful! Like being in a hotel! Nice staff and very helpful. Had a great time!

Staff is very helpful. Very quiet, cool, laid back. Beautiful grounds and creek. It is a little tight quarters, but still private layout.

By far the best campground we’ve been to. Every employee is so kind. They help when you ask and then some. It’s a beautiful park where there’s a creek running right through. Everyone who also stays here has been so nice. We will come back to this park for years to come. Highly recommend.

The Moonshine campground is absolutely charming in every way. We stayed 2 nights next to the waterfall in the sanctuary and enjoyed the serenity of relaxing to the sound of rushing water while watching firefly's sparkle in the distance as well as sleeping in under the tree cover (we slept in comfortably until 1030am on our first morning and it was GLORIOUS). The facilities and showers were even nicer than the hotels we stayed in on our way south and the hot water seemed limitless. We will absolutely be back!
