Moonshine Creek Campground — Reviews

This was our first time camping here and we have already booked a week next April. So relaxing here.

We love Moonshine Creek. The creek is so relaxing!!! The owner is great!!!! Can’t wait for our next trip!!

Very nice campground with great staff!

It's a beautiful campground especially by the creek. The spaces are a bit close together but there's trees everywhere so you can escape your neighbors. The bathhouse is spotless !: The owners are very helpful and pleasant.

Fantastic campground! Super clean and comfortable sites and grounds, friendly staff. Also I felt extremely safe for my first time camping alone with my son. Also great cellphone reception which was a plus!

Very nice campground! The seasonal spot weren't as well maintained as the other spots. We noticed soon as we entered the freshly trimmed lawns but when we got to our site ..it was past due having a date with a weed eater. Loved that you can hear the creek from nearly every site. We stayed in spot 43 with a 30 foot camper. I don't recommend this site with anything over 22 foot unless you have an extremely skilled driver...it's too tight having to back in off a narrow bridge. Lots of patrol on golf carts to make sure you're a good camper

Quiet campground, best bathhouse we have seen, close to trout steams and Blueridge pkwy. We will be back again.

Fantastic campground! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the sanctuary and it was spectacular and so peaceful. If you are looking for a getaway this is the place. If you are tent camping bring extra padding as the ground is rocky. Will be staying there again !

Very clean facilities, super nice hosts and very quiet. Great for our grandkids to relax and play by the fire or the creek.

This was our first outing with our new camper. We loved the campground. Especially with them helping us get parked. It was such a nice area and quiet. The creek was beautiful. The bathrooms and showers were really nice and clean. The camp hosts were really helpful and friendly. Just all around great place to stay. We will definitely be visiting again.

It was a beautiful campground that was well maintained and clean. There were no distractions just the beautiful scenery and wonderful hosts. The perfect place to come camp either in a tent or camper.

Enjoyed our stay at moonshine Creek Campground so very much! We loved being able to visit the downtown areas of the surrounding towns. We also saw some beautiful Fall Foliage by getting on the Blue Ridge Parkway and getting to a higher altitude. We spent one day just lazying at the camper with the creek in our back yard. The employees are so helpful and friendly!

We absolutely LOVED your sweet campground! It was so beautiful. Clean, really well maintained, and thoughtfully landscaped. The guest services and crew were so helpful and friendly… we would definitely recommend and return!

Beautiful site, Waterfall tent site. Bathrooms and showers are wonderful! Like being in a hotel! Nice staff and very helpful. Had a great time!
