Love the city and the campground is nice but sites are very close together. There is no camp host and office has very limited hours. GOOSE POOP EVERYWHERE so bring a rake. Bathrooms need some TLC but great water preasure in the showers.

We love the sites 43 and 44, peaceful and perfect!!! Just a tiny thing to pass along…so so much goose poop all around the beach, maybe a rake could be used periodically to help that problem.

Campground is very quiet! However campsite was full of glass and swimming beach was full of garbage. Pathways are pretty horrible too. Our campsite was also too small for both our truck and trailer so we had to park our truck next to the fire pit and were unable to use the fire pit. Overall great place to stay for a night or two just needs some serious TLC. We wouldn’t say no to going back just to a different site.

Such a great little campground! The Pros: Beautiful lake view, decently level sites, clean bathrooms/showers, attached to the city park which has a pavillion, swim beach, playground etc., walking distance to a great pizza place, a cute coffee shop, theatre, liquor store/bar, mexican restaurant, a grocery store and gas station just down the road. during the week it is very quiet and peaceful. Office has short hours, but when they are open they sell ice, firewood, tshirts etc. Friendly and helpful staff! There are full hookups on many sites, and then just electric and water for lots of the sites that have the best lake views! The Cons: (not deal breakers, just for awareness) Sites are dirt/grass/gravel (but still fairly level),sooo many geese (not the campgrounds fault, just the nature of the beast), but with so many geese comes lots and lots of goose poo, so watch your step! :) Weekends get busy with lots of people enjoying the campground so that equates to lots of traffic in and out, lots of kids etc. (Again- just people having fun, not a deal breaker!)
