site was full of goose poop and the 5 mph limit was a joke.young kids were going more like 25mph on elec bikes and golf carts,also the mens showers need new nozzles they spray all over (this has been a problem for a few years -nobody does anything about it. handicap doesnt work either) showers by the tent area

The experience was very good. Good campsite and we're near the swimming beach and the playground.

The young man who checked us in was very accommodating. Bathrooms need updating but it was just what we needed! View was amazing. Moosehead Lake was lovely. Will stay again.

Although the park would have been nice the geese there ruined our ability to have fun. There was bird poop everywhere. For a tent camper there needs to be a place to wash dishes and a space that is not covered in poop. The bathrooms were clean. The swim beach also covered in bird poop. Did not swim there due to the poop.

The dry/primitive campground is awful! It's the former football field behind the abandoned school. Finding it was nearly impossible due to poor signage and streets not being identified on the provided map. There's no restrooms or showers anywhere nearby. The parents of little league kids use the campsite area as additional parking and driveway access. For $34/night a Walmart parking lot would've been more comfortable - at least Walmart has a restroom!!

The campsite was covered in goose poop. Took two of us 45 minutes to clean up enough area to use a small piece of it

ALOT of goose poop! Isn’t there anything that can be done to deter those filthy birds? Can’t a person get sick from their poop?

Great weather and nice spot!

We spend ALOT of time camping at Moose Lake. We like the campground, except for the geese. There must be something you can do to discourage them. We should not have to rake our whole site to get rid of the filthy droppings from them, not to mention I feel like it could be a health hazard. Would appreciate you looking into the problem. Otherwise we love the campground.

We literally had to rake our entire tent sight before we could set up our tent there was so much goose poop covering the entire site. We intentionally picked a tent site that was next to an occupied site, but did not expect boaters to use the empty site as a boat launch all evening long trucks and boaters were in and out of what showed as an unrelated empty site.

Nice campground, enjoy staying there to kayak

The young man at the office was very polite and kind. Shower house and restrooms were clean. Nice campground in the city of Moose Lake. Close to ATV and bike trails.

Very nice campground. A boat launch, 2 docks near campsites, playground, showers. We stayed in the tent area. There are large shade trees at the rear of spacious sites on the side of the road away from the lake. We stayed in site 13 on the side near the lake. Had afternoon shade. I took off one star because there is too much goose poop in the sites adjacent to the lake.

We stayed a week ... longest stay yet here and had a great time as always....clean sites clean bathrooms park and beach right near sites ... and the geese like to visit with other wildlife also
