There was much confusion as to our reserved campsite. We didn’t get the one we were promised(even though we paid the extra $10.00) someone was already in it. So we were assigned another one…someone was already in that one too. The campground person then had to drive around to find us an appropriate spot. The reservation was made several days in advance.

Lots of rain and the campsite was a mud fest and lots of goose poop. The bathrooms were pretty rough. No recycling available.

Our 2nd stay this year and we were lucky to be there on the final weekend of the season. The campsites are generous, the town is welcoming and the trail is excellent. The beautiful lake is also enjoyable to look at.

Great campground. Had a site on the water. Dispite the rain it was really nice and clean. We did have some noisy neighbors (geese), 😄 haha. It's was great being so close to town, Duluth and state parks for hiking.
