It’s my favorite place to camp, and we always have fun going camping there!

Sites were a little close together but expected that due to full services. Was peaceful and for most of the week we had a unblocked view of the lake.

We have camped here many times and find it to be neat and clean- nice people and a sweet little town to visit in!

Great site on shore, well staffed with attendant. Seasonal guests were respectful. One group of teens were enjoying the campfire late into the night and compliments to them for respecting quiet time. Local law enforcement officers included the park in their patrol. One negative was the geese that inhabit the shoreline.

Congested sewer dump location which is a back in. Garbage dumpster should be relocated for easier ingress/egress for campers and room for backing.

Great site right by the water but people kept walking through our campsite and when we asked them to stop they alighted at us! They even rose their bikes through out campsite! They were with whomever was camping in #41. I don’t think we will be staying here again. People were not friendly!!

Nice little campground situated along Moosehead Lake and within very short walking distance of downtown. Very UTV friendly and the city is home to three trail heads. Been a regular for many years. They never had an issue with reserving a spot until this year where they say they have been having a lot of issues/complaints from people getting bumped after they have checked in and in some cases after they have setup. Sounds like the issues started after they went away from paper and went with Campspot. My last two reservations with Campspot resulted in getting bumped. Still not paying the gaurantee your site fee (never will), but I will try and make reservations directly through the campground when I can.

The location was great. However, the sites were dirty with spilled black tank and what looked like human feces.
