Morro Strand RV Park — Reviews

It felt like I was parked in a parking lot! The spaces were so close together, no privacy at all and the picnic table and the site was right for next to neighbors sewer line! The only good thing about the place was convenience to beach.

Very nice rv park

Always a pleasure to stay.

There was a boom truck that was cutting trees that came in to our campsite. Fortunately, the office agreed to give us a credit for the day. Also, the space in campground 2 is way too small to fit a travel trailer with a truck. Plus, people were allowed to let their dog bark non stop nonstop and fly a drone (encroaching on our privacy).

It was peaceful and quiet and everything was great. The showers could’ve been a little cleaner with a little more privacy, but overall was great.

No fire rings, poor parking for tow vehicles. Camp spaces to tight for even small trailer or motorhome.

Very clean, easy to find, nice walk to the beach , view of the Rock from our RV spot, and beautiful landscape.

Parking lot appearance. Ugly grounds and surrounding area. Horribly noisy with Squeaking seagulls and crows at all hours. Cramped spots. Picnic table covered in bird droppings. Proximity to beach was the only decent thing.

The staff was nice, campground was super quiet and very clean and a 5 min walk to the beach.

The sites are too small so we had no privacy, not to mention the difficulty in backing into the space. Also, the lack of shade of any sort was very disappointing.

Host was very accommodating. The campground was quiet and peaceful.

Quiet and office staff is great

The spaces were smaller than I expected, which made it difficult to park my trailer. The water spigots were problematic. One of the two leaked and it was not the rubber washer. Not sure if there was a night curfew but the late night noise combined with the small, close in proximity spaces made for difficult night for sleep

This was a nice park. From the pictures, we thought it was closer to the beach. It was about a half mile walk.

Always have a great time, we had rain but we still enjoyed our time.

I've arrived after-hours, all was previously setup. I contacted the phone and they were really assistive and comprehensive. The reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the site I was in was a bit tight for the 28ft Motorhome and using Awning and external tables would bother the neighbor later in the morning which they had to leave from the entrance area instead of the regular exit to avoid hitting the awning. I only had it open because of excess water and some ice due to a returning trip from Yosemite that didnt'go well.
