Myers Park Camping Agreement, Policies, and Regulations

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to check-in will be subject to a one-night cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 13-4 days prior to the check-in date will be subject to a 50% fee. Cancellations made 3 days or less prior to check-in will be Non-refundable. Holiday weekends are a 3-night minimum and are Non-refundable. All reservations MUST be paid in full at the time of reservation.

All transactions will be charged for 100% of the reservation fee at the time of booking with an additional, non-refundable 4% booking fee. Online booking always requires credit card payment. We accept VISA, Mastercard and Discover. We do not accept American Express.

Check payments should be made payable to Lansing Recreation. All check payments MUST be received within 7 days of the reservation date. Checks not received by that time will result in a cancellation of the reservation.

Holiday weekends are a 3-night minimum, are Non-refundable, and MUST be paid in full at the time of reservation.

Campers may make reservations with the Parks and Recreation office. Office hours are Monday – Thursday 7:00AM – 3:30PM, Fridays 7:00AM – Noon.

No person under the age of 18 will be issued a camping permit. Minors are not permitted to be left unsupervised.

Campsite occupancy is limited to 2 adults and 4 children. EXTRA children will be allowed at a cost of $2/night per child.

Fee:

Camping fee is $46/night for a Town of Lansing resident, $50/night for Non- Town of Lansing residents. Call for monthly/weekly pricing.

Check in time is 12PM, Noon.

Check out time is 11AM, anyone planning to occupy a site after 11AM must re-register and pay for an additional night’s stay.

Pets:

Pets are welcome but must be on a secure leash no longer than 10ft in length and MUST be cleaned up after. Dogs must have a current license and vaccinations. Limit to 1 large dog or 2 small dogs per site. Dogs may NOT be left in the park unattended.

 


Quiet Time:

Quiet time must be observed from 10PM – 7AM and ALL sound must be contained to your site only. No excessive noise will be allowed at any time. Amplifiers and loudspeakers are not prohibited. Violators may be asked to leave with no refund.

Firearms & Fireworks:
Firearms and fireworks are prohibited in the park.

Wildlife Protection:

Any harassment or destruction of wildlife will result in immediate eviction from the park.

Trees:
No cutting or damage of trees or branches will be allowed.

Visitors:

Out-of-town visitors to the camping or boat docking area must pay the park entrance fee- $7/car, $25/bus.

Site Restrictions:

§  One small pup tent ONLY, will be allowed on the same site as another camper or tent.

§  Two Person tents can be no longer than 8’ x 8’.

§  NYS Health Department regulations prohibit drainage of ANY wastewater onto the ground.

§  One boat or 2 jet skis on one trailer will be permitted on the same site as the camper.

§  Campsites MUST be kept neat and free of trash, debris, and discarded items. A warning will be issued for the first offense; second offenses will result in eviction from the campground.

§  No permanent, semi-permanent structures, or excavations of any kind are permitted on campsites, or any other area of the park.

Campfires:

Campfires are restricted to burning rings. These rings may NOT be moved. Fires should be extinguished before retiring. Fires are permitted at the campground ONLY. Burning garbage is not permitted.

Motorized Vehicles:

Electric/gas powered golf carts will be permitted for an additional $25 fee. All other recreational vehicles will NOT be allowed.

 

No camping beyond the line of electric pedestals. This zone must be kept open.

Myers Park Pavilion Agreement

Cancellations made 14 days or more from the date of your reservation will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 13 days to 4 days from the date of your reservation will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations made 3 days or less from the date of your event are Non-refundable.  

*Holiday weekends are Non-refundable*

Admission:

If your group/organization would like to pay for the park admission fee, please contact the Lansing Parks & recreation office. Your group/organization may provide their own parking tickets, or you may choose a group tally sheet. You will need to clearly list your group, date, and pavilion letter on the ticket. Please call the office, 607-533-7388, to confirm these arrangements. When choosing this option, a credit card will be required to keep on file. Cash/check payments not received for admission balances within 10 business days after your event will automatically be charged to the credit card on file. A receipt of this transaction will be mailed to the address on file.

Non-Lansing residents will be required to pay the $7/car entrance fee or purchase a season pass for $40. Non-resident senior citizen passes are also available for a $25 fee to anyone 62 and older.

Trash Policy:

Myers Park has a trash in, trash out policy. Please be prepared to bring all your trash out with you when you leave. A service charge of $25 will be billed to contact person if ANY trash is left behind.

Parking:

All motor vehicles must park in designated areas. NO parking on the park lawns.

Rules:

Loud, amplified music is prohibited

The sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited

The sale of goods and or services in the park is prohibited

Vendors:

Vendors are permitted for gatherings, as long as they have proper permits from the NYS Health Department.

 

The park closes at 10PM. Anyone in the park after hours, that is not permitted, will be asked to leave.
