Nantahala RV Resort & Campground — Reviews

This was a quiet well maintained campground near all of the local activities.

My site was changed after I asked to add on an extra week without our knowledge. We were moved behind the campground host, not much of a view. Campground offers not much in the way of scenery, creek was nice to listen to but our site had a road drain culvert and pvc pipe across it. Basically, a well maintained, clean facility to park your RV to be close to activities nearby.

Our spot was right on the creek and was absolutely beautiful and peaceful...my mom and dad were further down and it was all growed up and couldn't see the creek at all..it would have been great but there needs to be some weedeating done and clean up at the backside of the camp ground..host were very nice and took care of anything we needed..we would definitely stay again but I will make sure we stay at either of 1-6 spots and no further down!

Great spot. Terrible service. I was asked 2 move twice. All 3 spots I was at were not marked properly. The site was not crowded at all and the moves were not necessary. I will not be back and should be refunded.

Bathroom drains were full of hair.

Trash and restrooms at bit of aways.

Did not feel as if the campground warranted a Resort catagory. The campground is a graveled, level area in which to park your RV.

Camped by babbling brook. Great comfort station. Good location with nice sized sites.

Perfect place spacious sites real nice comfort station. Very clean park. Would give park a five, needs gravel it’s hard to walk on rock driveways, but will not stop me from going back. Oh well I will change to a five.

Although there aren’t lots of amenities - we couldn’t have asked for a nicer and more relaxing place to spend a few days. The creek running along right outside our RV was amazing to sit beside and crack open the window to listen to when it was warm enough in the afternoon. We will definitely recommend to others - and return in the future!

The pictures didn’t match the gravel parking lot. Also no amenities aside from a well maintained bathroom.

It was very quiet and peaceful, laundry room was a plus.. reasonably priced.. We will be back 😄

The entire facility was clean including the sites and restroom. The sites were well lit for my nighttime arrival. The person I spoke with was quite helpful when I couldn't identify what site I was assigned from the email confirmation. Only issue I had was I couldn't get any hot water from the shower but was just warm enough outside to get by with cold w/o hypothermia. Yeah, brrrr :)
