I agree, and shall cause my children, invitees, and guests to abide by all Park Rules established by Harper Development, LLC d/b/a Natures Trace Park (“Natures Trace Management”), including those rules and policies published at www.naturestracepark.com, posted on the Premises, or otherwise communicated by Natures Trace Management.

I understand and agree that background checks are required for any monthly or longer-term stay, and that a security deposit is required in advance for all rental properties, refundable in accordance with Natures Trace Park’s policies. We request that guests provide at least seven (7) days’ advance notice prior to arrival for monthly or longer-term stays to allow adequate time to prepare the site.

I understand that I remain personally responsible for payment of my entire reservation balance prior to my scheduled check-in date or at such an earlier date communicated by management. If payment is not completed, I authorize Harper Development, LLC d/b/a Natures Trace Park to charge any remaining balance (including damages or other amounts owed) to the credit or debit card on file. Balances unpaid after 30 days are subject to the maximum late charge allowed under North Carolina law.

The premises are privately owned, and Harper Development, LLC d/b/a Natures Trace Park reserves the right to refuse service to any person for any reason not prohibited by law. Management further reserves the right to remove any person or party violating Park Rules or engaging in behavior deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive, including harassment or any form of hate speech directed toward staff or guests. Lodging Units and Camper Rentals cannot be subleased.  Only the guests listed on the reservation are allowed to stay overnight. Weddings/ Large Gatherings:  Requires prior permission from owner, and if approved, they will be subject to a separate event fee pricing.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM. 

Loud Noise/Disturbing Other Persons: Be considerate and keep the volume of your music, voices, and other noise to a reasonable level. Please DO NOT walk-through other sites.  Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult during these hours.

I further understand and agree that Natures Trace Park does not grant credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. The Park’s refund policy varies depending on the timing of the cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date. Guests should review the current Cancellation Policy available on our website. Any Camp Credit issued must be redeemed within the same calendar year as the canceled reservation and may only be applied toward a site or cabin/lodge rental. For credit card reservations, refunds will be credited to the card on file.

As a participant in any recreation activity, I am responsible for acting within the limits of my ability, heeding all warnings and instructions, maintaining control of myself and any equipment, and refraining from any conduct that may cause injury to myself or others.

I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Harper Development, LLC d/b/a Natures Trace Park, its owners, employees, and agents (collectively, “Natures Trace Management”), from any and all liability to me, my children, invitees, guests, personal representatives, and heirs for any loss, damage, injury, or death arising out of the use and occupancy of Natures Trace Park, its property, facilities, golf carts, or amenities (collectively, the “Premises”), including hazards related to acts of nature such as weather changes, high winds, lightning, falling trees or limbs, temperature fluctuations, or wildlife encounters.

I further AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, SAVE, AND HOLD HARMLESS Natures Trace Park from any and all losses, liabilities, damages, or costs (including attorney’s fees) incurred as a result of injury (including death), damage, or property loss arising from my use of the Premises or the use by my children, invitees, or guests.

I acknowledge that while Natures Trace Park  makes every reasonable effort to maintain a secure environment, the safety and security of my person, property, and party remain my sole responsibility. As a courtesy, employees may assist with directing me to my designated campsite; however, it is solely my responsibility to ensure my equipment will fit safely within the site without obstruction from branches, bollards, or other obstacles. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Harper Development, LLC d/b/a Natures Trace Park from any loss or damage resulting from such assistance and further RELEASE, WAIVE, and DISCHARGE Natures Trace Management from any related liability.

I acknowledge that I have read and agree to all Park Rules and policies. I am responsible for the actions of all persons registered under my reservation, including children and any visitors. On behalf of all members of my party, I grant Natures Trace Park and its affiliated entities the right to use any photographic, video, or other visual portrayals of my party in any medium and for any lawful purpose.

Additional Terms for Rental Units: I understand and agree to comply with all terms related to rental units as provided in Natures Trace Park’s Rental Agreement and posted policies.

Natures Trace Park- Propane Policy Reminder  Propane is not included in rent and must be refilled by guests at their own expense. Our staff does not refill or transport propane tanks on behalf of guests.  This policy is standard at long-term campgrounds in the area. An on-site propane refill station is available for easier, more affordable refills 

(For All Lodging/Camper Rental Guests) ● At departure, the rental unit is to be left in a reasonably clean condition (broom swept), garbage is to be removed from the rental unit and placed in an outside dumpster, all kitchens and kitchenettes are to be left clean, all dishes are to be washed and put away, and the microwave, fridge, stove and countertops are to be wiped clean; otherwise, Natures Trace Management may charge my credit card with a $125 cleaning fee. I understand and agree that if I leave the rental unit in an unreasonably filthy condition, permit a pet to occupy a rental unit not designated as pet-friendly or smoke in a rental unit, Natures Trace Management may charge my credit card for the cost to professionally clean the rental unit ($250 minimum charge). ● All damages to the rental unit, whether caused by myself, my children, guests or pets, will be disclosed to the registration office immediately or at checkout. All damages occurring to the rental unit during my stay will be charged to my credit card after a thorough inspection has been made by Natures Trace Management. Damages for which I will be responsible include, but are not limited to: lost key(s), broken/lost TV/DVD/AC remote controls, broken items, discharged fire extinguishers (if not used for a fire), damaged/dented/bent appliances, furniture, cabinetry or dishes, writing on walls or bedding, and ripped or torn mattresses or covers. 

Animal Waiver:

 I hereby agree to the following regulations and conditions relating to my dog while camping at Harper Development, LLC, d/b/a Natures Trace with my dog. ● Excluded Dogs. I agree that the Park has the sole discretion to exclude dogs. The basis for exclusion may include, but is not limited to the following: breed-specific exclusions; due to their young age are exempted from state or local law vaccination requirements; are sick; are in heat; are aggressive, vicious, dangerous or potentially dangerous; require muzzling; or are easily frightened or sensitive, resulting in disruptive behavior (such as fighting or biting) in response to a stimulus. ● Supervision. I agree to keep my dog on a leash or in a carrier while in all public areas of the Park. I further agree to have my dog with me or a designated individual at all times, and understand that I may not leave the dog unattended in the cabin or at the campsite. I agree to prevent noise or any other disturbance by my dog, in the interest of other guests at the Park. ● Vaccinations. I represent and warrant that my dog is up to date on all vaccinations (including rabies and distemper) and flea treatments. ● Disturbances. I agree that, should my dog create any disturbances, which cause complaints to the management by other guests or employees of the Park, at the request of a Park employee, I will immediately make arrangements to house my dog elsewhere outside the Park. Additionally, I understand and agree that if I do not find alternative housing for my pet after being asked to do so, I will be asked to leave the Campground and will not be issued a refund. ● Assumption of Risk and Release. I understand that my permission to have my dog at the Park with me is a privilege and not a contractual right. Such permission is expressly conditional upon my adherence to the terms of these rules and other rules in effect at any given time. I understand that the Park may revoke such permission at any time for any reason. Additionally, I hereby assume all responsibility for risks, injury, damage, other harm that may occur while my dog is at the Park or caused by my dog. Further, I hereby knowingly and voluntarily expressly release and discharge the Park, its owner, its agents, its parent companies, members, managers, directors, officers and employees (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, both present and future, whether known, unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, that me or my guests or invitees may have against any of the Released Parties arising out of or incident to my dog’s presence in the Park, whether arising from any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, of me, my dog and/or any guest or invitee. I further agree to indemnify each of the Released Parties for any and all such claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, including costs, expenses, and attorney’s fees arising as a result of or related to the presence of the dog at the Park. This provision shall be enforceable to the fullest extent of the law. ● Acknowledgment. By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read the foregoing Assumption of Risk & Release and fully understand its provisions and implications. My execution of this Release is entirely voluntary and intended to be binding on my heirs, executors, legal representatives and assigns. I have read this Animal Waiver and understand it is my responsibility to abide by the Rules. I further understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that my guests and invitees also comply with the Rules. Failure to adhere to the policies and rules set forth herein may result in my removal from the Park without a refund.
