Newberry Campground — Reviews

The cabins seem to not be cleaned. Floors were dirty. Rustic for sure but having power there was nice and cabin is cute. There should be a lock on screen door so you can leave door open for more air flow. Take a fan & bug spray they are bad! The porta potty by cabins is over flowing. Needs to be emptied. Yuck.

Very nice campground with great activities. The quiet hours were not enforced at all after 10 pm. I’m not usually one to complain about people having fun but when they are loud and obnoxious and it impacts my 2 and 4 year olds sleep I have issues with that.

Office personnel great, friendly and helpful. Delivery of fire wood very pleasant. With today’s technology would like WiFi, even if additional 💰charge. WHEN PASSING THRIUGH WILL STAY AGAIN. Doug/Pat

The price was good, a lot of things to do within an hour drive, big campsites and staff was very friendly.

Super friendly. The pool was very clean and warm . Easy to get to location. We've camped here 3 times. Never disappointed.

Very clean and quiet campground with plenty of amenities to keep the kids busy. Perfect location- about one hour from everything you’ll want to see- pictured rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, Sault St Marie, Mackinaw city. Very kind and accommodating office staff. We found our new favorite UP campground.

Nice place

My children and I enjoyed every day we camped. The owners are super amazing, very sweet down to earth people. They had complimentary coffee in the office and we're very helpful with printing directions for the crisp light house so my children and I didn't get lost. My children loved the heated pool and the cabins were cozy. We will definitely camp there again and look forward to coming back to explore the list of stuff we didn't have to time to do while there. Thank you so much for a great experience and I've been telling everyone how amazing you guys are. Best vacation we have had in a while :)

The camp set was very quiet and clean

The campsite is rustic with lovely big trees. The washrooms are also, they could use an upgrade.

Front office was friendly and informative. Camping spot was roomy, nice shady areas for walking pets.

Very clean facilities, and the wood heated pool was delightful!

Wonderful, helpful owners, nicely cleaned facilities, and spacious site. Pool was warm but refreshing. It was our third time there this year. We are planning on going back for Labor Day weekend. Close proximity to Tahquamenon, Munising, Seney, Curtis and Sault Ste. Marie
