North Shore Campground — Reviews

Bathrooms were not clean, and it was very difficult to get into the park when we arrived after hours.

This was our first stay at Northshore. The camp ground was clean, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, our fellow campers were courteous. There were lots of portapotties around camp and a central bath house with flush toilets and token operated showers. This isn’t a camp with tons of activities, but the lake is steps away from just about every site. We will be back.

We had a great time with our whole group and loved that we were able to get spots together for the most part. The only downfall was how tight and close some of the sites are to one another. We felt a bit on top of each other and turning corners with a trailer was pretty snug at times.

The hosts were very nice. The facilities and the grounds were very well kept. Its a beautiful spot right on the lake.

The camp spot was great, right on the water. The port-a-potties were not great. Rather full when we arrived on Thursday and then changed out on Sunday morning. Seems you’d want them empty before the weekend. The employees were great. This end of the lake was great! I do wish for as much as the camp spot cost, a boat slip was included in the spot, $30 a day for the slip is excessive….on top of the camp fees, pet fees and parking.

Our campsite was amazing. We had a good time. But when I figured out how much I was actually charged with all the fees and taxes, I doubt I will be going back. Everything was great except what I was charged. Office staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very quiet and mostly peaceful. Had everything we needed. They came out and replaced a circuit breaker when we found a problem. Beautiful campsite on the lake.

We got there at 5 the place was locked up we tried 3 times to call, we finally got ahold of someone, Thomas was a very nice young man and helped us get in the park our spot was horrible! There are sites way to close together, the first couple of nights we had a nice view of the lake then they put someone right in front of us so close we could almost hear them snoring and it ruined our view and our weekend, seems they could take some of the sites out and make people more comfortable but it’s all about the money not the comfort of customers hence this review, the woman in the store the next morning were rude and very matter of fact witch would have been understandable if i wasn’t the only customer in the place, we will never go back!

The campsite that we had was okay, however we were at, it was basically a turnaround for campers and it was very very dusty and when the campers going through it was very dirty. However, the laundry facilities were clean and in great shape and the campsite was very close to town

Nice place, great view. Super nice staff. VERY clean showers and restrooms. Only thing that would have made it better is wifi at our site, but it was available in the camp store area.

Nice place, a little pricy though.

The campsite was well kept and spacious. We had a lakefront space and worth the up fee for the space. Campground was pretty quiet for the most part. Staff were friendly and bathrooms were cleaned daily.

Awesome time for everyone! Clean facilities and secured grounds. We will be back next year.

Staff members were kind and helpful. Family friendly and had gated grounds.
