Clean, comfortable, quiet We’ve had bad experiences with other family owned and run campgrounds being dirty and packed full of rude people. This campground was the opposite. Everyone was friendly (staff and other campers), the campsites and bathrooms were very clean, and the showers were cheap! The camp store/office was great and staff were super friendly. We will definitely be back.

Northstar was a beautiful and quiet campground. The sites are all good sized, I stayed on 56 (River site). The river access was through a small path but was still nice to hear the river behind you. The best river access seemed to be on sites 42-46 in my opinion, but they vary slightly in size. We stayed the weekend before July 4th and it was only about half full. The bathrooms were clean, showers are quarter operated (50 cents for 6 min I think) $1.50 was more than enough time. The area was beautiful for hiking, biking and exploring Mount sunapee and the lake. I would absolutely stay here again!
