Oak Thicket Park — Reviews

It was very relaxing, but would have liked it to be more cleared out so that you could see the water.

My neighbors were having a party pass 1am in the morning. Very little sleep.

Beautiful park! Very well kept, clean bathrooms, small, not very crowded. Good for fishing and kayaking on the lake.

The park grounds were very pretty/ nicely mowed. The park was quiet. We have recommended it to friends!!!!

You'll need to fix the security lights around the park area in the campground

I asked the gal at the gate I I could borrow a shovel to move the gravel and dirt off the pad. She said she would have the maintenance guy do it. He never did. For the overnight fees that are now being charged I think a better heater could be installed in the shower room.

Have been staying at Oak Thickett Park for years and love it. We really appreciate all of the improvements that have been made in the last two or three years.

The comp site was great and clean

We love visiting Oak Thickett Park. The park is well maintained, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our stay was very enjoyable. The only suggestion I could make would be to paint yellow strips on the boat ramp so that lining up your trailer is easier.

Cabin was nice floors when you walked on them in bare feet were not bad but a little dirty. We have stayed at this cabin for 20+ Plus times so we know what to expect but furniture is very uncomfortable and TV is the pits.

I stayed in a bedroom with 3 queen size beds. The cabin was very clean. The sheets and towels soft. The cabin does not have any where to hangs clothes, no rod or hooks. Also it does not have anywhere to sit except on the beds. Having a chair would be greatly appreciate.

Our stay is always great, every year. This year especially the bathrooms and showers were exceptionally clean. The only thing missing was the honey pot truck. We are hoping it will be available next year for the same weekend long event.
