We called at 12:30 pm to check to be sure that we would be set to arrive after 4:30. We were told our key was ready and it would be no problem. We arrived and the staff couldn’t find the key. There wasn’t a “master” key, they would call a cleaning person to see if she had it after she had cleaned. She claimed she didn’t have it. Well there just happened to be a seasonal camper there that was a locksmith. We said they needed to figure it. I was really unhappy. They offered to move us to a different cabin, but my husband has a terrible back and needed the full bed that is only in the first cabin. We told them when we called the person said we would be all set. Well the locksmith broke in and the trash was still full, the cabin wasn’t cleaned, and there were ants everywhere. To say I was unhappy is an understatement. The manager came in, cleaned the cabin, apologized, and said she would make it right. Well no one made it right. We enjoyed our time but were seriously disappointed in the experience.
