Oxbow Park — Reviews

We have been staying at oxbow for about a 14year for hot boats and then we sometimes come throughout the year for other events or just a family trip. We were a little worried this year with it being new ownership and the past couple of years have been a little frustrating so we were debating on finding a new campground this year. We were all very pleased with the service and friendly nature and how nice it was. We will be back again for sure after this year we don’t feel the need to venture out to a different park!

Beautiful campground. It was nice to stay somewhere where golf carts weren’t buzzing around joyriding all day. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The showers are on the small side but clean. We look forward to returning!

Great view of the lake and farther away from other camping spots which we really enjoyed. The bathrooms were a little far, but there were porta potties right across from us that were very clean.

Couldn't go swimming because of the algae bloom.

No big issues, but unable to get into the water due to algae bloom.

Thru no fault of the park, the algae bloom made it so the kids couldn’t swim at park. Otherwise as always have a great time

We love the place. Improved significantly in the past two years- thanks to staff! Quiet. Great spot in pond. Will be back

Camping here was awful, the camp sites are so small and we had neighbors that were disrespectful and rude

Great stay, kids had a blast and everyone was so friendly

a lot better then when we stayed there years ago- very clean bathroom and shower rooms. Boat slips are available to rent and staff very nice

Campgrounds were modern, clean, staff was friendly and helpful! Quite and peaceful, family atmosphere. Beautiful views of the Hardy Dam backwater!! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!

Nice facilities and quiet atmosphere. Had a great weekend camping on the lake.

The staff was all great - friendly, helpful. Excellent fire wood for purchase. Our tent camp site was right along the lake and gave a nice breeze. Plenty of shade and a nice fire ring. There was a loud fight early Sunday morning that disturbed everyone - but I can't fault Oxbow for that.
