If you’re looking for a nice beach. Do not go there. The county took over and it no longer gets maintained. Grass growing on the beach everywhere. Have been going for many years and this is the worst it has ever been

We had such a wonderful experience at this campground from start to finish. The entire place was very clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, which made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. You can really tell that the staff takes pride in keeping the campground welcoming, comfortable, and family-friendly for all guests. The customer service was absolutely outstanding. Everyone we encountered was friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The gentleman at the front desk/check-in area, who also managed the campground, was especially kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. We requested to move to a different campsite, and he made the process incredibly smooth and stress-free with no issues at all. I unfortunately forgot to ask for his name, but his hospitality truly stood out. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. That level of care and attentiveness is something you don’t come across often and it really made our visit memorable. The campground itself is beautiful, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind and enjoy nature. The lake and surrounding views were absolutely stunning. Our kids had an amazing time playing in the sand and at the playground, and we also loved that there were so many activities available like mini golf, volleyball, and fishing. There was truly something for everyone to enjoy. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations, and it honestly felt like a home away from home. Thank you to the entire team for such an amazing experience. We are already looking forward to booking again very soon and bringing more friends and family with us next time. We would highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming, well-managed, and beautiful place to stay!

Great place to camp, nice open sites backed right up to the beach, the kids could play and the adults could relax!!

Great spot by the beach. Great for birdwatchers. Lots of tiny bugs this time of year. Only power hook ups but they have a sano dump and non potable water so stock up on freshwater.

The campground itself is nice. Very clean and well kept. Amenities are good as well. Full power and a water station to fill you trailer up. Also a dump station to empty before you go. Playground is awesome and right on the beach. The beach is huge, the water was warm but lots of algae/bird poop so prepare for that. There is a nice shower house you can use for $1(loonies). The store has wood to purchase. The sites are pretty open so not a ton of privacy but honestly we spent the majority of our time on the beach. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back

Nice, clean campground. Unfortunately our neighbors were enjoying themselves noisily until 1:30 am. Beach is raked very couple of days, very kid- and pet-friendly. We'll definitely be back to enjoy Buffalo Lake again!

Always excellent staying here this was our 5th year coming hear with many more to come.

Was very happy with campground

Facilities are kept clean. Garbages are emptied often. Camp hosts are helpful. Only thing that would make this campground even better is longer showers for $1, needs a 2nd loonie to finish. Due to weather we left a day early, and were refunded unused night. We will be back.
