Piney River Resort — Reviews

The site was absolutely beautiful (site 5). The people in the office were very friendly and helpful. We were there to celebrate our birthdays and our anniversary but when at the campsite we constantly shared with the people around us. It’s great to see kids out and enjoying nature fishing and in the water but there was so much yelling and screaming and splashing literally right outside our door all the time it was anything but peaceful. Even at night sitting by our campfire, people come down and fish right out front . I think it’s the only site where this happens so it was disappointing to pay for the premium site for special occasions , only to have to share it with so many others the whole week. It it was beautiful . The park is clean. The pool looked amazing. We didn’t use any of the amenities only because we didn’t need to.

We have been coming here for years, absolutely love the growth. Always so clean and welcoming. Love the new check in center and store. And they make pizzas on sight!

Pool and shop were great!!! Cleanest and nicest bath house!!! Very nice!!

We enjoyed our stay. Very friendly staff. The only issue we had was having enough linen at times. Overall I would come back, will recommend to friends.

Very clean, quiet location.

Beautiful spot, thankful we selected on the river. The pool hadn’t opened, we were disappointed about that. We visited the next store and it’s lovely but it was only open a few hours because it was the first day. The communication and staff were great! We would likely come back, maybe in the fall.

This is great campground. We arrived late and left early but it is a beautiful location.

WiFi was in and out but overall it was a great stay! The restrooms were left in a mess but this is the fault of the customers, not the staff. The staff did a good job of trying to clean up after the nasty campers. We will definitely be back again!!!

This is a beautiful spot, with a great management group! We will definitely come back if we’re in this area again.

Secluded and off the beaten path. Loved the river nearby and the farm animals (goats and 2 horses) next to the campground for the kids to look at. The kids also enjoyed the playground and the fire pit. We only stayed for one night but definitely enjoyed it.

Easy check in and check out. Shower house was very clean and in great shape. Lot location next to the river was beautiful and relaxing.

They were wonderful! Clean, level, concrete pad campsite. We were in #4 by the river. Just beautiful. They even take you to your spot and help you park. Thanks, Joellen!

This place is very tucked back off the main path but beautiful, hosts were great.
