Too many changes in the regulations. It’s a Great Lake for fishing but they are changing all the regulations that prohibit a lot of the access to fish the lake.

Point Folly is a beautiful campground with stunning scenery and a peaceful atmosphere. Unfortunately, our planned four‑day, three‑night stay was cut down to just one day and one night due to a Nor’easter storm. It was disappointing to leave early, as we weren’t able to fully enjoy everything this campsite has to offer.

Really nice location, especially with proximity to the lake. Lots of great space for kids to ride bikes. Biggest improvement would be the bathrooms. With a couple air fresheners and maybe a ventilation fan to bring in fresh air, the smell would be much more tolerable. Could also occasionally add some wood chips or lime to the holding tanks to keep the smell at bay.

I love point folly in itself, but many new rules with new people in charge & they are BORRRINNNGGG & unfortunately a lot of empty spots due to the new rules I think.

You can’t moor your boat offshore anymore. It’s a top fishing spot in Ct and the reason most people camp there now you have to pay to moor your boat away from your campsite and can’t store your trailer at the camp site but you can pay to store it at the camp store! Very disappointing.

Great weekend at this rustic location on the lake. Everyone was friendly,and the sites were very well taken care of. No hookups but was able to charge up during generator hours8-11am and 5-8in the evening. Access to the lake in several spots together rafts in the lake. Ver convenient to small towns.wehad a great visit with family and wonderful weather.

We camp here yearly. Our family really enjoys the lake and camping together. The outhouse has definitely gotten better. We will be back!
