Ponce de Leon RV Park — Reviews

Great location and easy pull through sites, but the park description and map did not include amenities like the bath house and showers at the west pavilion. We assumed there were not bath facilities when we stayed overnight.

Campground was real nice. Sites are spacious. However, there is no office, no campground map, no contact except via email. Map & rules are on their website, but not everyone wants to look at their phone to check rules or site locations. Knowing this, though, we’d stay again if we’re in the area.

Park and our site was easy to get to, plenty of room at our site. The electric pedestal breaker didn’t work, I called the office and in minutes maintenance was there and resolved the issue. He even came back later and helped jump our car when we were having problems. 😀

Great park, right off the highway I-10, qu Jet and clean. Large level lots. Conveniently located by Dollar General, pilot gas station in Family Dollar. Easy and easy out very nice campground.

The good - Site was easy to get to and clearly marked. The site we had was legit very level. Price was good. Firewood available. The bad - Bathroom/showers not clean and pretty musty smelling. Dog crap everywhere you look. Many people blatantly just don't clean up after their dog and nothing done about it. Lots of noise from the Interstate.

Very nice campground, lots of space between campsites, great WIFI, and very quiet.

Dropped in for a quick night. Everything was on par and would definitely stop again.

We just did an overnight but everything was as stated and we we able to get in and out easily!

Owner and workers are great, Fit easy with a big rig.

Ease of entry ease of hook ups, I wish we could get closer to the bathhouse, but it was within walkable distance

We stayed there before and were looking forward to going back. The property has sold and apparently the new owners goal is to do no maintance. What happened to the picnic tables and fun outdoor furniture. No check in, no host, all communication was on line. There is a I-10 rest stop at the same exit. Just stay there.

This park was easy to book online, well kept and quiet.
