Poppy's Family Campground — Reviews

The online registration was easy. Communication before, during, and after was excellent. There wasn’t a sign for Poppy’s which caused slight confusion. Staff was friendly and helpful. Campground was clean and quiet. Sites were paved but a bit small . If there was a 4.5 rating that would fit. Good dark site for anyone interested in stars.

We just got home from a four night stay for labor day weekend and we loved it! First time camping here and we will be back! So many things for kids to do from the playground, water slide, indoor pool, play ground with newly built mud kitchen and gaga ball pit, a pond for fishing to an 18 hole miniature golf course. Paved road all throughout the campground, so it's great for riding bikes. Loved that they had daily activities planned and the staff was really nice. Thanks Poppy's for a great way to end the summer!

Perfect stay staff was great very kid friendly our daughter had lots of kids to play with. The pool and hot tub were nice and like its open til 10. The slide was fun. Not sure how those kids can run up there so many times but they all seemed to be having a blast. Did some fishing which was fun and kayaking. Night time and early morning it was quiet and peaceful. The activities were fun. Tie dye was a favorite for sure. Love seeing everyone with their shirts on. I do recommend getting some smaller infant sizes. Not sure how big they went but adult some big sizes would be great if they dont have them. We will definitely be back.

Our new favorite campground!! Unbelievable price considering the sites and amenities offered. Hard to believe you can play unlimited putt-putt golf, ride the large water slide and enjoy the indoor pool, sauna and hot tub at no additional charge. Gorgeous place to host events!!

Beautiful campground with kind staff. Our family enjoyed the indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, water slide, putt-putt golf and walking the trails. The bathrooms/bathhouses were very nice and clean.

Highly recommend Poppy’s!! It’s great for all ages. Beautiful atmosphere with great amenities. Our family will definitely be booking again and again.

Though it appears to operate all year, the store was not open yet. Water from the faucet smelled and caused temporary stains to the toilet. On the plus side, the pool and gym were open for use. Campground is under new ownership and needs a bit of work.

Was not aware the office was closed for two days, could have emailed us. We didn't know where to go. A camper helped us out. Site was supposed to be 50 amp, was only 30 amp. Water extremely rusty

The staff was amazing. The grounds were good. The shower was awesome. All in all the experience was very positive and I would recommend anyone going there.

It was a quiet week, nobody bothered is. Water is definitely rusty hard, will have to us rust stain remover on the shower but that's nothing to bad.

It was very wooded, very clean bathhouse, loved being able to walk my dog around the lake, nice amenities. The other couple we camped with loved their stay too! We will come camp again.

No one to check us, no supervison of parking. The water slide was not opened, golf park not open, had find our own lot. Weather got really bad & no one available to check out or talk to at park. The water was orange coming out of faucets & the fire pit had tall weeds in it. Not returning to this park!

Bathrooms were clean, pool hot tub , sauna and water slide everything was available for us. 6 families rented the sites for camping with tent and we all enjoyed it! I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to camp.
