This stay was a great fit for our needs. Just outside of the city. Yet on the river with great swimming and tubing. Near lakes and river swim holes. Clean facilities and front staff was really friendly. Big site.

They charged us an extra $20 for arriving early and it was afternoon. We were awakened one of the mornings to 2 people having a fight and screaming at each other. Did our laundry and came back at the end of the wash to find our wet clothes had been taken out and left on the counter. Would not recommend this campground nor would we ever stay again.

We loved the size of the camping spot (upper campground #67), however there was absolutely no shade! It was hot and windy which prevented putting out the awning! The picnic table had a hornets nest in it, but due to staff shortage, the office was closed. We would still consider camping there again as bathrooms, showers, etc. were clean and it appears more improvements are being made to the park.
