The location was convenient and the lake gorgeous. Overall, the campground was well maintained and quiet. The site was a "pull-though" however many/most of the sites were more or less permanently occupied and the outer road needed to pull-out when leaving the site was difficult to navigate due to all the extras people had set-up. The laundry machines would not take the quarters so I had to download ShinePay to get our laundry washed & dried. Still a nice place to call home for a week.

Sites were small and no directions from staff. View of lake at the end of the lane was beautiful but all sites there appeared to be permanent. Sites were listed as pull through, but there was no way a camper could do this. The road was very narrow and most of the permanent campers are using the road as part of their site. We had to back our 35 ft RV out the main drive. This was a little cumbersome as the sites were somewhat small as well. On a positive note, the leaves are in full color and beautiful.

We highly recommend staying at Lake Stephens. The sites are all pull through. We enjoyed the trails to the lake at the campground. There are many areas of the county park to explore as well. Laundry is only $2.50. Garbage is collected from your site every evening at 8pm.

Adequate campsite for a County park. Note that closing time for the park is 9:00 pm and there are no provisions for after hours arrival, so you must arrive before closing. Sites available for tents, campers & RVs

Beautiful area with super friendly people. Views of the lake were amazing and the deer weren't afraid of people and would come up and eat right out of this ladies hand. My only suggestion would be better signage, more clear info on how to get to the campground once you enter the park.

Water pressure was low, campsites are super close together, and the only bathroom we used was filthy. Our neighbors were noisy into the wee hours. We did love the setting and had a good stay.

So friendly and such a beautiful place...clean and hot showers and very quiet. Everywhere you look it's an amazing view. Didn't want to leave and we for sure be back.
