Great campground! Loved how many different sites there were. On the water, in the pine trees, in the woods. Will definitely be back!

We were not a fan of the outhouse. Lots of bugs and smells!!

Had a lot of fun! Beautiful campground. Spots were a little close would maybe add little fences or something between for privacy. But will definitely be back!

This is truly a rustic camping gem! Simple and sweet, with all of nature's amenities at your fingertips! The staff is welcoming and informative. Very clean! Can't wait to return! Thanks!

Such an amazing place .. Peaceful quiet and beautiful.. Friendly animals and a awesome camping culture.. The host keeps the place in impeccable condition.. Great from group camp and solo adventure..

Was a bit noisy after hours, bathrooms were absolutely disgusting, too much traffic in the campsite I booked. People just walked up out the river through the site I booked. Campsite felt a little close to on another.

The campsite lots were spacious and clean. The owners were friendly and you could buy ice and wood on-site. We will definitely camp here again.

Great little camping area

I made a mistake reserving for only two nights for a trip that necessitated a three night stay. The mistake--made three months in advance--was mine, for which I apologized. Had I gotten even one wink of sleep between the 10:00pm moment I was awakened from a half-hour's deep sleep and 4:00am when I absconded, I would have settled the paltry money penalty in the daylight--as I promised. Even now if I could find a way I'd gladly mail a money order for the $30 I promised to pay. However--despite leaving a five star rating--I've unilaterally reconsidered a breach of promise I'd prefer not to make. Unfortunately, the menacing I got kept me awake (despite sleep tabs being ingested precluding safe departure at all the rest of the night and into the early morning). Their behavior was justified, but no one should be menaced with what seemed "concealed-carry bravado" (understandable if enforcing rules in a remote place against "not decent human beings" as seems the presumption of owners' agent, who should never be entrusted with such head-swelling authority in a wild place). Another camper was denied his reservation by my mistake and for that I feel bad, but then I never slept there on 6/22/2024 for more than a mere 1/2 hour. In business ones customers will make honest mistakes. Confronting a 77yr old alone in the forest in a bleary mood from the days wedding reception was no way to handle this picayune boo-boo. My advance purchase of a Campspot reservation has terms of decency implied on the part of the business owner. Such is not decent human being behavior. Consider your payment my not having pressed charges and my explicitly described culpability. Because the fault was mine I sign my name Larry Quetsch. See me in light of day, if you wish. I bear no ill-will toward The Waughs or their agent.

Loved this small quiet campground! Riverfront location was amazing. Very nice people at the camp store/office!! Great experience. We will be back.

First time staying at this campground we really enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing. We will be back with our whole family soon!

Super helpful staff

Stayed in spot 30 with 4 adults, 3 young kids and a dog. Place was beautiful! Great views and within walking distance of a very calm part of the river. Close to the office/store, great staff, had some essentials for purchase. We had soch a great experience here

Because the outside house was so full of you know wat,no one can use it the smell was terrible.

One of the best campgrounds I have been to. The owners and operators of the campgrounds, a friendly accommodate the campers.

It was a tight camping site. Too many pot holes in the gravel road. It gets really muddy when it rains a lot. Cannot do fun activities in the rainy conditions.

Friendly staff, nice riverside tent camp sites, and the kayaking was fun. I caught and released one small fish in the river and families swim/wade at the bottom of the boat ramp.
