It's not like as described. There is no longer a office, store or laundry. No bathrooms or public showers. 70 percent of the people who are there are long term or permanent renters. You cannot fish in the river because after a flood in 2024 it will not sustain life and for the same reason that's why the park now in the shape its in. Don't believe what you read online, it is not even worth the drive. Much better places to stay then this. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 1.

Place needs some serious upkeep. Amenities such as bathroom, showers and laundry facility are still closed from flood last year. Rules state no add on structures, yet plenty of sites had sheds and built on patios. Rules also state dogs are not to disturb others. Yet I had 2 dogs run up on my dog on my site after being there for 10 minutes. Also had multiple other dogs run up on my dog while walking her. Dogs left tied up outside barking at anything. Park managers can clearly hear it, yet they do not enforce the rules. Seems long term tenants can do whatever they want as long as they provide a steady income to the park. Thus driving customers from returning. This is also a low flood zone so ensure there's no heavy rain expected during your stay. The flash floods can overtake the site in minutes.
