River Ridge Family Campground — Reviews

Trees need trimming, very low branches, too many dead trees, roads need to be treated for dust, need doors on the showers. Other than that ice cream is good.

Absolutely amazing!! Love this park and the employees. Everything was perfect up until my wife ended up in the hospital. Pretty much but the kabosh on the rest of our trip.

Enjoyed the river view and time with family and friends but was disappointed in the accommodations. Bathrooms were dingy and dirty and the pool was closed so my kiddos were very disappointed.

We had a great stay at this campground, and loved our spot on the river. The grounds were clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. One thing to note is that firewood wasn’t available for purchase during our visit—possibly because it was still early in the camping season. Not a big deal, but something to keep in mind if you’re planning a trip around the same time. Overall, a peaceful and enjoyable experience—we’d definitely come back!

The campsite on the river was lovely. Bathroom didn’t appear to have been cleaned during our 3 night stay. No paper towels or working hand dryer in the bathroom the last 2 days. The camp store was closed on the weekends and there was no firewood available for purchase at the campground

Nice camp ground but the sites are small. Bathrooms had no paper towel and the hand dryer didn't work.

My camp spot was so small that the people next to me actually ran over part of my tent with their vehicle. Plus on my second day it rained all day.
