Great location, kids loved swimming in the pond. We had a river site, definitely should have packed extra bug spray. Overall, we were impressed and will come back!

The campground is one of my favorites but the bathrooms were not well maintained/clean this year and the fire wood has been new/wet wood the past two years. It would be great if they could add a fenced in area for dogs and have longer store/restaurant hours. Love the river view and pond.

The park was clean, well organized and maintained. It is well treed for shade. Each site had a concrete patio area with a built in fire pit. Only drawback is that it has no wifi and limited phone reception.

River Ridge is a really sweet campground with a surprising amount of amenities. We enjoyed our river front site, which allowed us to view the water wildlife while enjoying our camp meals. We spent one afternoon kayaking down the Pine River, thanks to Chase, who dropped us off at the launch site and then drove our truck back to the campground for us! Also, this campground is only about 15 minutes from Midland. We will definitely be back for another trip!

I stayed in the deluxe cabin which was very clean and comfortable. I appreciated the AC was working great. The only negative was the water heater was not working, so there was only lukewarm water to shower with, which was unfortunate. I have this same cabin booked for other weekends this summer so I hope this water heater gets fixed/replaced soon.

Stayed 4 nights . Seems the place is under new management and there are a lot of kids running the place.. first indication of unprofessionalism was at check in. Was told we have you in site 4 , your good to go . I was not given a map or any directions or a copy of the activities.. I think the bathrooms were a little neglected.. there were activities and river which was nice.. How fast the kids learn professionalism will decide the fate of the place..

The pool is as freezing couldn’t swim but one day. No activities. Ice cream machine was broken. Hot tub was broken.

River view sites allow for great birding and fishing. Children’s activities include natural swimming pond and chlorinated pool. More gravel needed on roads and sites. Sites small and not level. Very old bathhouse and not clean.
