The park is surrounded by the beautiful Montezuma Wildlife Refuge and offers waterfront campsites and cabins along the river. Bring your boat and launch at their marina, or rent a canoe/kayak to enjoy a day on the water. They offer 26 boat slips that can be rented so you can wake up in the morning and go fishing without any hassles. The walleye, black bass, perch, trout, and monster catfish are sure to show you a good time! For those who prefer a more relaxed vacation, kick back, and enjoy the sun at the pool or tour one of the local wineries. I really enjoy staying here. I enjoy the water, dark skies, sunsets and sun rises. All the seasonal sites are super friendly wave, invite you over for a fire. I have stayed probably 10 weeks this summer on and off while working in the area and every site I have stayed at has been good. The owners are super friendly. I like it more during the week, but thats my personal preference.

Other than the "main shower house and bathrooms', the other bathrooms that were in the campground are modern day latrines (outhouses). And the sites are fairly close to each other.

This campground is a nice little hidden gem! The people who own it and run it are the most friendly, helpful people we have ever met. Both owners, Eric & Sandy are always there to help with what ever they can with a smile. The campground itself is nice and quiet but really comes to life on Friday and Saturday with every weekend having themed events. Everything is done so well. We love it here!!
