The park is surrounded by the beautiful Montezuma Wildlife Refuge and offers waterfront campsites and cabins along the river. Bring your boat and launch at their marina, or rent a canoe/kayak to enjoy a day on the water. They offer 26 boat slips that can be rented so you can wake up in the morning and go fishing without any hassles. The walleye, black bass, perch, trout, and monster catfish are sure to show you a good time! For those who prefer a more relaxed vacation, kick back, and enjoy the sun at the pool or tour one of the local wineries. No matter the adventure you choose, Rivers Crossing Campground & Marina offers a beautiful setting to enjoy the Finger Lakes area.

I want to preface this review by saying that my one interaction with actual campground staff was pleasant at check in. That being said, the seasonal campers were incredibly unfriendly and put off weird vibes. We’ve been full-timing for more than 3 years & have never felt so put off by a campground. An intoxicated woman ran out in front of our truck and blew cigarette smoke into our window as she yelled at us to slow down because her kids were playing; we were going 5 MPH which is the speed limit in the park. I saw her do this to the one other vehicle with out-of-state plates shortly thereafter, despite people with New York plates that were part of their group coming in faster. Then on Saturday night, someone roared in on a Harley at midnight, yelled, then proceeded to leave their dog outside barking all night. The bathrooms were also disgusting and missing screens on the door. They charged for internet; we have Starlink so we didn’t use it, but heard someone explaining to an older woman that it was $20 for 7 days. And in 3+ years of full-timing, this was the first place I’ve had to buy water to drink because theirs had the syrupy consistency of Gatorade and tasted very salty. Overall, this campground is located in a beautiful area very close to a national wildlife refuge, which was the reason for our visit, but I would never stay here again.
