I really enjoyed my stay here. The site was clean and level A11. Although it’s right on a busy main road and a railway it was still quiet and private and beautiful. There’s a nature reserve nearby with walking access to the beach as well as the town of Wells with a selection of eating places. The daily walks were easy and so refreshingly stimulating. Cam and Teddy were very helpful and friendly. The broken washer and dryer should be repaired but the others work fine. It was a random selection on Campspot and I was delighted with it.

campsite was directly next to a highway, campsites were tiny and infested with ticks and mosquitos. got out of my car to set up my tent and immediately got bug bites in a crazy.

I realize it is the end of the camping season, but a sign be back at 1 limits one's flexibility.

Very close to the road. Fire trucks, ambulances blaring, train tracks behind campsite.

Bathrooms not clean, no toilet paper, cold water only in some showers. Upon arrival our reservation fell in a locked box with other reservations. Called both emergency contact numbers. One was disconnected and other not taking messages. People near us partying until after 1am. Quiet time 11pm and campers usually adhere to these. Close drive to Wells Beach which is beautiful.

The sites are all very small and it is extremely difficult to fit 2 tents comfortably on one site. This also makes the 11 pm quiet hour seem even later and noisier as your neighbor is only about 15’ away from you at any given time. We stayed 3 nights and 2 of the 3 nights we tried to shower and there was only cold water. The campground also doesn’t have firewood for sale, so make sure to bring your own. We found most of the stores along Route 1 have some in stock.

Very kind people but the sites are way to small if you have a bigger camper . Nice pool and close to the beach.

We were a little skeptical when we first pulled in and saw how close the sites were to each other, but we ended up having a lot of fun. Everyone was friendly and courteous, quiet time was adhered to, and it was fun just to relax and watch the wiffle ball games all the kids (and adults) were playing. Bathrooms in the tenting area were new & clean, though the showers were not working. Very family oriented.

Our tenting site was directly on top of ant hills and the site was incredibly small despite us booking for a large tent. It was impossible to drown out the road traffic and train that passes by honks it horn with every pass starting before 6am and going until 1am. The washrooms/showers were dirty. This is very clearly a seasonal campground that isn’t designed for a good tenting experience. The office closed at 5pm and no one was available to check us in when we arrived. I do not recommend this campground for tenting.

First off, this place is loud. Not even talking about the sounds of campers and families, just the sound of traffic and the nearby train tracks. The train seemed frequent and the sounds of motorcycles went all night long. More importantly though, when we arrived and began setting up, we realized that our electrical outlet didn't work. We called the park manager, and after a couple minutes of him complaining that it would take him 20 minutes to get out of bed and get down to the site, he finally agreed to take a look at it. About 5 minutes later he pulled up in his golf cart. The outlet ended up being bad, but his solution was not to move us to another available site, but to plug us in to the power strip on a neighboring site, which was resting on top of the water faucets. He was very dismissive and condescending, with the attitude of "oh well, deal with it because I don't want to...". Steer far away from this place, there are many better alternatives. If I could give less than one star I would.

Worst campground I’ve ever been to. Tiny campsite that was in the swimming pool. The staff was not helpful. The place looks run down, pool is very small. I left and went to acres of wild life and loved my stay!!! Go there!!!

It was very noisy, kids on the electric jeep, driving around the park all the time into the early evening and next early morning constant! Very busy park, tight!
