Rocking M Ranch Campground — Reviews

If you have children and enjoy them screaming, this might be a good place for you. I came here to get away from the noise of the city, but a group of 3-4 girls, about 10-12 years old, were screaming and yelling from 7am until I left at noon. Otherwise, it was a decent campground.

Beautiful campsite, an amazing little gem. Only about 1.5 hours out of Castle Rock so very easy to get to. But the stars of the show are Pete and Judy. They are so incredibly kind and helpful . We are new campers and Pete showed us what we needed help with and we had some wonderful conversations. Additionally, the owners are very nice always present and were great peopke as well. This campground will shock you with how beautiful it is. Thanks so much to you all! 11 out of 10 experience

Great rv sites in woods! Beautiful location close to great hiking. Good quality hook ups!

Hosts were accessible, friendly and very accommodating! This spot is beautiful and quiet with lots of trees and good space between sites. Will be back!

If you want quiet, peaceful, and away from everything, this is your spot! We spent 4 nights here and we hated to leave. The hosts, Pete and Judy, were extremely helpful and ended up helping us plan our time there. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another stay.

The owners and the camp host were amazingly friendly and helpful. We camped up in the woods and the camp spots were large and spacious. Will camp here again for sure.

The only thing i would say would be that the sites are not wide enough and we had to go to the front or back side of our camper to sit, and we couldn’t enjoy our awing.

Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Bought some firewood from them and he brought it over for us and even gave us a little extra! Will definitely be back!
