It was a nice, quiet location, we had one of the wooded sites, #20, very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Our campsite was in the trees which was really nice, but the sites were so close together. The staff were absolutely great and very helpful. Love being so close to the towns of Victor and Cripple Creek.

  • Victor Gem & Mineral Show & Oddities Alley

    June 19 - June 21

    The annual Victor Gem & Mineral Show in Victor, Colorado will be held June 19-21. The event will be held in downtown historic Victor and is free to the public. The show will include vendors from across the state selling Colorado dug minerals. Items for sale will include polished gems, hand-crafted jewelry, rough slabs, specimens, cabochons, geodes, and more. There will also be gold and gem panning at the Victor Lowell Thomas Museum. Show hours are from 9-5 Friday and Saturday and 9-4 on Sunday. Friday and Saturday, you can experience Oddities Alley, a concurrent event of with a unique blend of vendors, food trucks, and live entertainment. The Enigma will be performing during the weekend. The Enigma is a bizarre show of original music, odd humor, and amazing stunts. The concurrent events are sponsored by the Black Monarch Hotel in Victor and Urban Cirque. Urban Cirque will present two days of aerial performances in the downtown.

  • Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup

    June 19 - June 20

    Join us for the Rocky Mountain Region’s largest Mustang event where around 300 Ford Mustangs, manufactured from the 1960’s to the present, will be on display on Bennett Avenue in Cripple Creek from 10AM until 3PM.

  • Donkey Derby Days

    June 26 - June 28

    Donkey Derby Days is the largest summer event and tops the list of favorite Cripple Creek attractions. This year the event will be held June 26-28. People from all over the world descend on downtown to be inspired by the town’s resident donkey herd, who roam Cripple Creek in honor of the original Cripple Creek donkeys from the town’s Gold Rush days. Enjoy beer gardens, food vendors, retail vendors, kids activities, donkeys, and live music!
