Rocking M Ranch Campground, situated at 10,000 feet along the southwestern base of Pikes Peak near historic Cripple Creek, Colorado, offers a spacious mountain sanctuary featuring wooded back-in and pull-through RV sites equipped with 50/30/20 amp electric and water hookups, select full hookups, and convenient honey wagon and dump station services. Set alongside shady spruce and aspens and designed with room to breathe, this high-altitude refuge accommodates big rigs, toy haulers, tent campers, and pets—complete with a fenced dog run, a scenic nature trail, a playground, lawn games, and clean restroom and shower facilities. Welcoming hosts ensure an easy arrival while pointing visitors toward top local destinations like Victor's famous Rita the Rock Planter sculpture, scenic hiking drives, and nearby towns ranging from Woodland Park to Colorado Springs. Extra long pull-through campsites located in the meadow that accommodate slides on both sides. All sites have full hookups and are long enough for your RV, vehicle and trailered off-road toys. Each site has a picnic table and campfire ring. 1 tent is allowed in the same site as an RV for an additional charge. Complimentary WIFI is available, but please bring your own service if it is necessary for you to have a strong, steady signal. The number of users and trees, other RV's etc. may affect our service.

We really enjoy staying there, Lowell and Julie are extremely nice people and go out of their way to make our stay comfortable. This was the third time we stayed there this summer.

Beautiful setting and very peaceful and quiet. Convenient to Cripple Creek and Colorado Springs. Will definitely stay here again.

We liked the setting back off the highway quiet and peaceful. The sites were clean and generally level. Wa ter and electric and dump station Lots of trees table sufficient outside area. Personnel was very helpful and friendly. It is at10000 ft so elevatIon can be a factor to some. Cripple Creek town is 7 miles away and a great little town to visit.

Mt Pisgah Speaks

The Gold Camp Victorian Society of Cripple Creek, Colorado is proud to announce the return of Mount Pisgah Speaks! You will be entertained by Digger O’Dell, Doc Susie and Madame Pearl DeVere as well as many of the other colorful citizens of the Gold Camp’s past. Enjoy a haunting trip into yesteryear as you experience life in the World’s Greatest Gold Camp with the people who actually lived it! All tours leave The District Museum, 510 E. Bennett Avenue in Cripple Creek, every half hour from 9:30 AM through 1:30 PM on Saturday, September 19th and Sunday, September 20th.

Fall Festival

The Cripple Creek Fall Festival is being planned for the weekend of October 3 & 4, produced by the Two Mile High Club. There will be live music, a beer garden, fall themed adult beverages, a pie judging contest, chili cook off, fall photoshoots, vendors, professional wood carving displays/demonstrations, sculptures for sale, and more! This is a free event which is open to the general public. Plan your trip to check out the fall colors and spend a little time enjoying Cripple Creek. All proceeds collected during the event will be used for the care and upkeep of our beloved wild donkey herd that roams the streets of Cripple Creek. These descendants from the early days of mining are an example of the grit and determination of the founders of our great community. Come and support the donkeys and enjoy a fun time in Cripple Creek. Live Music on Saturday and Sunday.
