RockWater Campground

Rules & Policies

WARNING: Under Ohio law, there is no liability for an injury to or death of a camper or visitor to this campground if that injury or death results from the risk inherent to camping. Inherent risks to camping include, but are not limited to, the risk of injury inherent to land features, equipment, animals, or the negligent actions of the camper or visitor. You are assuming the risk of participating in camping.

We reserve the right to eject any person(s) who do not comply with the rules and policies.

Site and Navigation

  • You have been assigned a specific site. If you wish to move, please check with the office.
  • Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible.
  • Open fires are not allowed. Fires must be in designated firepits or fire rings.
  • Please use roads, sidewalks, and designated public paths when walking. Do not cut through campsites.

Pet Policies

  • Pets must be leashed at all times.
  • Pets are not allowed in buildings, on the beach, or on playgrounds.
  • Do not tie pets to trees, doors, or posts.
  • Clean up after your pet immediately. Failure to do so will result in ejection without refund.
  • Pets may not be left unattended at any time.
  • All pets must be vaccinated. Proof is required.
  • Excessive barking is not tolerated and may result in ejection without refund.
  • Owners are liable for any damage or injury caused by their pets.

Vehicle & Traffic Rules

  • Speed limit throughout the park is 5 MPH.
  • Each site includes 1 RV and up to 2 vehicles.
  • Do not park on grass or unregistered sites. Damage will incur fees.
  • ATVs, dirt bikes, motorcycles, and golf carts may only be used to access your site.

General Park Policies

  • In case of severe weather, seek shelter in restrooms or laundry room. Bring pets with you.
  • Only registered guests may enter. All visitors must register at the office and display a vehicle pass.
  • Visitors are not allowed to bring pets. Maximum 8 people per site.
  • Laundry is available 24/7. Do not leave laundry unattended.
  • Restrooms are open 24/7, closed briefly for daily cleaning. Children under 16 must be supervised.
  • The beach and playground are open from 9 AM to dusk. No lifeguard on duty. Children under 18 must be supervised.
  • Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM. Loud music will result in immediate removal.
  • Drones, clotheslines, fireworks, and firearms are prohibited.
  • Vehicle or RV repairs are not allowed. Ask the office for mobile repair referrals.
  • Illegal drug use and vandalism will result in ejection.
  • Emergency contact forms are required for monthly guests and are kept confidential.
  • We do not offer refunds for reservations at anytime.
