CAMPGROUND POLICIES & GUEST AGREEMENT

Rose Creek Campground and Cabins is owned and operated by Rooted Retreats NC, LLC

GENERAL RESERVATION POLICIES

  • All rates include 2 guests. Additional guests are $3.00 per day.

  • Maximum occupancy is 6 persons per site (including visitors).

  • All visitors must register at the office/camp host prior to entering the property.

  • Weekends require a 2-night minimum stay.

  • Holidays require a 3-night minimum stay.

  • Reservations are not confirmed until payment/deposit is received.

  • Same-day reservations require payment in full and are non-refundable.

Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

  • Check-In: 2:00 PM 

  • Check-Out: 11:00 AM

  • All guests may go straight to their site if they have completed pre-arrival check-in

Late departures may result in additional charges.

QUIET HOURS

  • Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM

  • Camping courtesy is in effect 24 hours a day.

  • No loud music, profanity, or abusive language.

Children under 16 must be at their campsite during quiet hours.
Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

SPEED LIMIT & VEHICLES

  • Speed Limit: 5 MPH throughout the property.

  • One camping unit and one vehicle per site unless otherwise approved.

  • Additional vehicles must park in designated areas.

  • Do not park on grass.

  • No drones allowed.

  • Car or RV washing is prohibited.

  • Only street-legal, insured motorcycles are permitted.

  • No ATVs, golf carts, mini-bikes, or uninsured motorized vehicles.

  • Absolutely no driving under the influence of alcohol.

SITE APPEARANCE

Guests agree to maintain a clean, neat, and orderly site at all times.

  • No storage under RVs.

  • Do not cut through other campsites.

  • Place trash at the front of your site for scheduled pickup.

  • Do not enter construction areas, sheds, or private residences.

Trespassing beyond designated areas (including pasture or fenced private property) is strictly prohibited.

FIRE & SAFETY

  • Campfires permitted in designated fire rings or grills only.

  • Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited.

  • Smoking is permitted at your site only.

  • Absolutely NO smoking or vaping inside cabins, rental units, bathhouses, or buildings.

    • $250 fine for violation in rental units.

  • No glass containers in pool areas (For Rose Creek Campground).

  • All facilities are used at your own risk.

POOL RULES (For Rose Creek Campground)

  • No lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.

  • No one may swim alone.

  • Children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Infants must wear swim diapers.

  • No running, diving, flips, or horseplay.

  • No glass containers

  • Guests of Gem City Campground are invited to utilize the pool at Rose Creek Campground 

Please read all posted State and Federal pool rules.

PLAYGROUND & COMMON AREAS

Parents are responsible for supervising children at all times.
Guests assume all risk associated with playground and recreational equipment use.

PET POLICY

  • All pets must be approved.

  • Maximum of 2 pets per site unless prior approval is granted.

  • Pets must be leashed at all times.

  • Owners must pick up all pet waste immediately.

  • Pets may not be tied outside unattended.

  • Excessive barking or aggressive behavior will result in removal.

  • Pets are not permitted in buildings, pool areas, bathhouses, or rental units unless designated pet-friendly.

  • Service animals are permitted in accordance with ADA regulations.

  • Proof of vaccinations must be available upon request.

  • $50 fine for pet policy violations.

RENTAL UNIT POLICIES (CABINS / RV RENTALS / WAGONS)

  • Guests must be 21+ to rent cabins or rental units.

  • Guests must be 18+ to rent RV or tent sites.

  • No smoking or vaping inside rental units.

  • Guests are financially responsible for damage or missing items.

FISHING (Available at Rose Creek)

  • Catch & Release only.

  • No NC Fishing License required (where applicable).

  • Guests of Gem City Campground are invited to utilize the pool at Rose Creek Campground 

LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

By entering the property, guests acknowledge and agree:

  • Use of all facilities is at your own risk.

  • Management is not responsible for loss, theft, injury, accidents, natural disasters, or damages.

  • Guests release and indemnify Rooted Retreats NC, LLC, its owners, officers, and employees from all liability.

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for the safety and behavior of their children and guests.

PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE

Entrance onto campground property constitutes permission for Rooted Retreats NC, LLC to photograph guests and use images for lawful promotional purposes without compensation.

AMENITY DISCLAIMER

Amenities and activities are subject to weather, maintenance, occupancy, and operational needs.
We do not guarantee availability of all amenities at all times.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We maintain a moderate cancellation policy to ensure fairness to all guests.

RV Sites / Cabins / Rentals:

  • 0–7 Days Before Arrival: No Refund

  • 8–13 Days Before Arrival: 50% Refund

  • 14+ Days Before Arrival: $40 or 25% Cancellation Fee (whichever is greater)

  • No refunds for early departures or late arrivals.

  • No refunds for holidays.

  • No refunds for No-Shows.

Same-day reservations are non-refundable.

We do not issue rain checks or weather-related refunds.

Weekly and monthly rates are discounted and not eligible for additional discounts.

FINAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By completing a reservation and/or entering the property, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to comply with all campground policies and conditions.
