Rose Lake Park — Reviews

Lots of family and friends and tons of activities!! Swimming and fishing was excellent!!

We enjoyed our stay. It was relaxing, clean facilities and awesome staff.

What a great campsite! Very kid friendly, everyone takes the 5mph speed limit very seriously which was great as our kids could cruise around on their bikes. Sites are well shaded, clean and incredibly well marked. Bathrooms are decently clean but could use some maintenance with door locks and water temp; they were too tall for my 7yo to reach and some were rusted open and the showers were frigid after 6pm. Staff was great, other campers were the friendliest people. Overall a wonderful place and we will be returning for sure!

You don't have wifi so all we can watch is antenna.

Such a great family campground. Bath houses, great atmosphere, boat launch is great and easily assessable. Peaceful and fun camping experience.

Nice quiet sleep but way too crowded. Need more bathrooms not portable pottys.

I don’t generally do 100% that being said everything was very very good, second year on this site wood it again, staff very friendly and accommodating, handicap granddaughter lake access was better than most.

We love it at Rose Lake Park but the restrooms were closed and only had porta potties, which I’m told were dirty. We have a camper but the others tent and use the restrooms and showers. Hoping they are remodeling and they will be up and running next year.

We tent camped…The restrooms are outdated but clean. The staff were friendly. The campground is larger so my son loved being able to ride his bike all around. We rented canoes to go fishing. And that was so fun. Very pet friendly!! Everyone loves our 11week old Aussiedoodle. Great campground.

Very nice staff! The beach was great! The campground has a lot of dirt, could use some more grassy areas to camp on. The bathrooms need major updating! They also need a bathroom closer to the beach area.

Our stay has always been great! This year was even the best! The new managers and all the campground workers were sooo friendly and very helpful! But—- the noise cleaning up the old youth camp was very noisey! I know they had to get the work done! Christie Prielipp.

First time staying at this campground and really enjoyed it! Staff and seasonal campers were super friendly and helpful. The beach area was nice and the store was stocked with helpful items if you forgot something. The bathroom closest to us was closed, but not too far of a walk to the next one. Overall, we would happily stay again!

I feel we should have been told ahead of time that the bathroom/shower building was out of service. We had our 81 yr old mother with us. Too far to walk to the other bathrooms. We chose our site close to bathrooms on purpose. The portable toilets were overfull and smelled awful. Should be cleaned twice a week not once. And the putt putt still on map. But not there. Be transparent. We should have been told. We received several emails prior to visit. Could have included this info. Very disappointed. We have been coming for years. The staff was much more helpful and kind this year. Very pleased with that. The campsites were very clean.
