Round Pond Retreat — Reviews

No information provided upon check in. We had to call for directions to spot and wifi password. We used the bathroom for two days and it had no toilet paper,soap or paper towels the whole time. Clearly never checked on. The roads are uneven and have ruts not made for big rigs so stay away. The entrance is on a curve in the road and hard to see plus posts on both sides of entrance. One good thing is it was quiet as only a few people there.

This was a quaint, peaceful, beautiful campground. No frills, great place for a get away.

We never met owners/ staff, no checkin or office. Drove in hooked up and did our thing. Kinda weird.

Tent site and bathrooms were excellent. Really enjoyed my stay and love the pond.

The property is pretty and its nice to have full hook ups but the roads are terrible, several deep pot holes. Our lot was so uneven that we had to go purchase concrete blocks to level the camper. We are avid campers and have camped all over the southeast but this was the most uneven spot we have ever camped in. The email they send has about 75 rules to read through and a whole other page or 2 of other things, its kind of ridiculous just to camp for a weekend. We dont even have to read through that many rules for federal camp grounds. Also, the email mentioned a "front desk" but we did not see any office to check in or out so that was pretty confusing. This place has potential but not a place we would strive to camp at.

Great campground! Have stayed there twice now. Bathrooms always clean! Both times in a tent spot. Owner was sweet enough to let me know the other spot was available that was bigger before my stay!

If you are looking for a quiet place to stay, this might be it. Only complaint we have is the roads are a bit rough getting a larger trailer in and out.

Its a very tranquil park. Quiet and Friendly. I have stayed there once a month since March 2024. The weather this weekend was really beautiful. Blue sky and no rain. Light breeze through out the 3 days I was there.

I have stayed there once a month since March of last year. Its quiet clean and best if all relaxing.

The campground was really beautiful and the bathrooms were clean. We were originally slotted for site 21, but was upgraded to site 19 before our arrival. We LOVED this site and appreciated the upgrade since site 21 is directly at the bathrooms. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!

Round Pond Retreat reminds me of camping as a child. There were people Canooing, riding bikes, walking, playing as well as relaxing, reading... My only complaint would be there aren't enough spaces for motorhomes. Great, small campground
