We liked this campground a lot, although I wouldn't stay here in the busy season because the sites are too close together. But September is a perfect time to go! Great play area for kids, pool & hot tub, fire pit. If you're in a tent, I imagine the noise from Hiway 50 is very loud, but not too bad in a trailer/RV.

This is very good camp and keeps getting better each year. The current management and support staff are very good at keeping things running. My wife and I have stayed here twice in the past 2 years and love the location.

This is literally our favorite camp spot. The kids love it for all the entertainment, there's a giant jumpy blob, a pool, a big playground, volleyball and basketball courts, outdoor games and several fire pits. You can not beat the incredible views, it's quiet and the people that work there are so kind and helpful. We love two hours from canon city but we regularly come up here because we love it so much. There's so much to do in town too, you could spend several days and not do everything. I would definitely recommend the Royal gorge express train ride. It was pricey but sooo worth it! We will definitely be back to the Royal Goege RV resort! : )

What a lovely place! The campsites are amazing --roomy, trees, flat:), and just about perfect. Very private and uncrowded. Loved this place!
