Great stay camp area was well maintained . Attendants were really kind and helpful had very relaxing and pleasant time.

sites nothing like appeared on map, hard to find, nothing marked well and couldn't reach a live person via email or phone. not for big rigs at all, sites very uneven.

I feel the camp sight could have a bit more of a level spot for the picnic table and maybe a bit more privacy. Overall it wasn’t bad.

Our spot was wonderful! Bath house could use some updates. Our kids wanted to swim, but the pool was closed before Labor Day weekend even started and also an extra cost instead of including pool passes w your purchase.

The campground is well maintained, shaded, and each spot gives you plenty of space and privacy. There is a large bathhouse in the center of the campground with more than enough bathrooms and showers (I think 8 of each, not gender specific). The water in the showers was hot and there was plenty of water pressure. This is by far a favorite of my family’s!

We had complained that a dog was running loose a couple campsites down and there were people everywhere. They had their visitors parking everywhere and our dogs bark the whole time. It was very frustrating.

Rural Retreat Campground is my favorite place to camp. The upgrades that were done to some of the sites were fantastic. Wythe County needs to allot more monies to the campground. This is a gem that could make the county more money.

The campground is well kept and the staff is very helpful. We stayed in site 62, it was large and well shaded with great access to the water. Because of the tree coverage our Starlink didn't work well, the bathhouses also have a lot to be desired.

At check in, I was in the computer but didn't have a welcome packet that included a map. Spent some extra time navigating the exit. The place was beautiful and peaceful. Sites are very unlevel and a lot of maneuvering required!

In & out roads are not clearly marked & multiple vehicles came in the wrong way with 1 almost causing a wreck. Wifi is non existent most of the time.

The particular spot was a poor location with no enough space to walk outside of the rv comfortably. The water spigots valve made it very difficult to connect a hose to. The picnic table was sitting on the side of a hill which made it impossible to use along with the fire pit. There was no access to WiFi and phone reception was very limited.
