We had a great time

Our camp spot was AMAZING!! Every “Andrew” and all other staff were kind, accommodating, and helpful!

The campground was well-maintained. The beach was fantastic. The staff were very professional. My grandchildren had a great time.

This place was awesome! Great swimming. Pretty windy so good for kites. Will be coming back!

Sand Island never disappoints! Staff is awesome, and service is great. They are busy so you may have to wait a little bit for shuttle/boat service - but they get things done as fast as they can! I highly recommend sand island for your next camping trip.

The sites are all so beautiful and amazing. Our stay was peaceful and we had a great time. The only thing I would change is check out the next day. When we arrive they haul all your gear to your site for you by a cart and trailor but no one is available to do this in the morning until 10 and check out is by 11 so there isn’t enough time to help every guest checking out. I would just suggest an earlier crew to help get everyone to the dock for checkout. But everything else was amazing.

As I understand this is a newer campground. My tent site was generous, well dispersed and vault toilets were maintained. The island is very quiet and it was interesting and a little entertaining to watch the boats, sailboats to cargo ships glide by the island. The only blot on my stay was the amount of micro trash, bottle lids, candy wrappers, fast food containers were scattered everywhere. Perhaps a few more trash cans might help.

It wound up being one of the nicest camping trips I have ever had. I was leery about it being on an island and having to cart all of my gear in. I was so shocked to find out that they have attendants who help you get your things from your car to the dock and then a guy on the island with a flatbed that hauls all of your things to your site! They do the same service when you are leaving. The staff were accommodating and professional. The site was lovely and well kept, the bathroom was clean and stocked with plenty of toilet paper. The island is beautifully kept and the water was amazing. We saw a family of deer and an eagle. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it has become our new favorite spot to go camping. We couldn't have had a better trip.

The island was absolutely beautiful but troubles with the ferry service and the amount of drunk and partying people were annoying.

We camped here several times and it is always a great place to enjoy. Special thanks to Thomas, Andrew, and Becky for taking such great care of us during our stay. Awsome Crew!

This was my first time camping with my hubby who LOVES camping.. this place was awesome! Andrew was exceptional! There weren’t a lot of people there so he gave us an option to move to another campsite away from a big party of people. We said we needed trees for two hammocks and he picked the absolute PERFECT spot! The island has spread out bathrooms, but no running water so bring lots of water! You can buy wood at the island and they bring it right to your campsite which is awesome. We had a picnic table and a fire pit in our campsite and the area was clean and beautiful. Husband had a great time fishing off the beach and I had great cell reception to watch a movie in my hammock! The staff was above and beyond friendly and helpful. It was fun to watch the boats go by (quieter than I thought they’d be) and there was lots of wildlife to watch as well as some really cool wood carving hiding around the island. We 100% recommend this place and will be back for sure ☺️

What a sweet little spot! Paddle boarding, eagles and lock up your food! The raccoons know to unzip stuff! 🤣
