Sand Springs Campground — Reviews

The campground was great! Easy check in and very nice and respectful people. Beautiful place! Will hopefully be returning during the summer months! Neighbors were all so friendly!

WE LOVE SAND SPRINGS CAMP GROUND! EVEN THOUGH IT POURED DOWN RAIN FOR MOST OF THE DAY AND NIGHT; WE TRULY ENJOYED THE BEAUTY AND QUIETNESS OF THE AREA. THIS STAY WAS OUR FIFTH TIME HERE AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO GETTING BACK HERE IN THE SPRING OF 2024.

Great accommodation close to home

The campground is nice, but the bathroom’s really need renovated, and our water barely came out, we couldn’t take a shower in our camper.

Staff was friendly, site was clean. We were only there for a short weekend, but will definitely be back.

WE'VE BEEN HERE SEVERAL TIMES PRIOR TO THIS TRIP AND ALTHOUGH IT RAINED ALL NIGHT WE STILL HAD A GOOD TIME. FRIENDLY STAFF, GREAT SITE, QUIET AND RELAXING.

Sites are nice, not much privacy except for the tent sites which are a bit more spaced apart. We didn’t see any staff the whole time we were there and we didn’t really know where to go when we arrived; there was no map at the office which was locked (we arrived late). The bathrooms were clean but quite dated, showers are coin operated.

THIS WAS OUR SECOND TIME CAMPING HERE AND IT WAS JUST AS GREAT AS THE FIRST TIME! WE WERE ABLE TO GET THE SAME SITE THAT WE HAD BEFORE AND IT WAS LIKE HOMECOMING! LOL! WE WERE HERE DURING THE WEEK SO THERE WASN'T MUCH WEEKEND CROWDING. IT WAS VERY PEACEFUL AND RESTFUL!

Very friendly staff, clean campgrounds. Very helpful in every aspect as we are not from the area we felt very comfortable and at home. Rules were very clear and we appreciated that as well.

THE CAMPGROUND WAS BEAUTIFUL, THE STAFF WERE GREAT, THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. THE OTHER GUESTS WERE FRIENDLY AND THERE WASN'T ANY LOUD AND UNRULY ACTIVITY! WE WILL RETURN HERE FOR FUTURE CAMPING AS IT IS ONLY ABOUT A TWO HOUR DRIVE AND EASY TO GET TO.
