Sandy Point Resort & RV Park — Reviews

Sandy Point Resort was a great place.sites large,clean. As we are an older couple we didn’t do much just had a Relaxing week end.

Beautiful beach, clean washrooms, wonderful staff.

We love Sandy Point! The facilities & amenities are amazing, & the proximity to Edmonton, & the ability to stay nightly, & not just seasonally are great for us.

It was very clean, the sites were large enough for an RV and 2 cars if you needed that. It also had a very large grassy area for dogs. Only downside would be not enough trees-but I am sure that will happen.

It was fun and hassle free. Kids loved the beach and overall environment there. We loved the peace and quiet. Site had all the amenities and it felt so good

Sites were very clean, level and having full service is great. The general store is well stocked and the staff are super friendly and enthusiastic. Beach is super clean, wide and long. The only two drawbacks that we saw were the shower curtains instead of locking doors which deterred us from using them but with full hookups, we just used the shower in our trailer. The other were how few garbage bins there were. It was a bit of a walk to get to them being right in the middle. Again pretty minor. Keep up the good work.

We love Sandy Point RV park, for its location & amenities, but maintenance has slipped some. The gravel pads have weeds growing in them & are in need of re grading so huge puddles don’t develop when it rains. Our fire pit had not been cleaned prior to our arrival & our picnic table was covered in bird droppings; these droppings did not wash off despite the heavy rain we experienced, so they had been there for some time. Additionally, the privately owned site no longer permits food trucks on site, & forcing the trucks to the far end of the public beach parking lot.
