Sandy Point Resort & RV Park — Reviews

We love Sandy Point we have family with a seasonal lot out there & love the amenities! On our most recent stay though, there was a bit of neglect, our fire pit was full of garbage on arrival & weeds had overgrown.

We found that the park was not as well kept as in the past. In years past fire pits and sites were cleaned once people left. There was approximately 20 long screws by the fire pit beside us that were there all summer. Being that we were there for over 2 months the grass around our trailer and picnic table was never trimmed. Usually we would ask the person cutting grass which day he would be trimming and we would move things. Never did we see anyone who was cutting or trimming. Overall we love the campground as we have been coming back for 5 years.

Campsites are very close together, no privacy. Very poor connectivity to internet and wifi, the further away from the office and bathrooms the worst it is. Some sites are not well maintained as there were large weeds growing through the gravel pads.

We enjoyed the campground! Having all the hook-ups is great. Access to the beach is easy and the lots are large. Having the trees mature in a few years will help with privacy n shelter. We don't have pets but appreciate that they are allowed. It is a quiet campground with many amenities for kids and adults alike

This campground is awesome! The sites are slightly cramped but there is so much offered that we didn’t mind in the least! Friendly staff and clean facilities.

Stay was ok, weather not so good.

Park is great! Wish they had WiFi & that they’d allow the food trucks closer to the check in area.

Always great staying here. Cleanest bathrooms and well maintained grounds. It was lots of rains and Cold this weekend.. All the sites are grass and gravel so no mud or dirt in the rv! Huge bonus.

Grew up camping at Aspen Beach, & love all the amenities Sandy Point has to offer.
