Please read through our Rules & Policies in full as we have made some changes for the 2026 season.

RULES & POLICIES

MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE TO BOOK AND CHECK-IN. PLEASE HAVE ID & LICENSE PLATE # AVAILABLE FOR CHECK-IN.

All reservation fees are based on 2 Adults, 4 Minor Children (under 18 Years of age) and 1 Vehicle.  Additional fees will be incurred for extra adults, children (over 2 years of age), vehicles & pets not accounted for during booking process. SIX GUESTS MAX PER SITE.

CHECK IN/CHECK OUT: On Tuesdays & Wednesdays early check-in & late check-out are not available due to the office being closed.

Check-in time is 2pm (3pm-8pm for rental units). Early arrival (up to 3 hours early), if available, is $25.00. Please call or email the office on the day of your arrival to check availability.   Please note: we do not have anywhere for you to wait if your site is not available!

PLEASE NOTE: RENTAL UNIT CHECK-INS ARE NOT PERMITTED AFTER 8PM.

Check-out time is 11am for all sites & rental units. You may not stay on the property to utilize any amenities beyond 11am. You are welcome to just depart, stopping in the office isn't necessary. Anyone still onsite after 11am will be subject to an automatic $25 late check-out fee. Late departure (up to 3 hours late), if available, is $25.00.  Please call or email the office on the morning of your departure to check availability.  

GATE ACCESS:

You will receive a gate code to access the park upon arrival.  This code must not be shared with others. Any shared codes will be deactivated.

TENTS:

Tent site reservations (this includes water/electric sites reserved for tent camping) come with two tents. If you would like to add one additional tent to a tent site or add one tent to an RV site, please notify the office. There will be a $25 tent fee for the additional tent. No more than three tents total on one tent site and no more than one tent on an RV site.

PARKING:

All vehicles must have a visible parking pass at all times while on campground property. Parking passes must be facing out to show date, site number, & license plate number. No more than ONE vehicle is allowed on one site. If you have visitors, please utilize the overflow parking areas that are marked on the map.

SPEED LIMIT:

The speed limit throughout the park is 5 miles per hour.  Please be mindful of children on bikes & playing.  Violators may be asked to park outside the gate or leave the property. 

VISITORS:

Visitors are welcome from 9 AM–9 PM and must be registered between 9am-5pm. Overnight visitors are not permitted. Please note, additional adults cannot be added to a partial reservation. Any adults added will be added to your entire stay. Any guests caught with unregistered visitors or visitors outside of visiting hours will be charged a $20 unregistered visitor fee per visitor & vehicle and may be asked to leave the park.

All visitors must be registered with the office DURING OFFICE HOURS BY THE SITE HOLDER. Any visitors arriving after office hours must be pre-registered during office hours and check in with security upon arrival. Registered guests are responsible for their visitors. Visitors are not allowed to bring pets. There is a $15 ($20 for holiday weekend) visitor/parking pass fee for the first person in the vehicle and a $5 ($10 for holiday weekend) visitor fee for each additional person in the same vehicle (children under 3 are free). No more than 4 adult visitors and 2 visitor vehicles per reservation. No more than 2 vehicles total can be parked on a site. Visitors can use overflow parking, if needed.

All visitors will be given a temporary gate code that will expire at 9pm daily, do not share this temporary code. Site holders must not share their code with visitors.

GOLF CARTS:

Personal golf cart use is prohibited for any guest who is not a seasonal. We offer golf cart rentals for $75/day to guests 21 years of age or older. Must be 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license to drive. Violators will lose golf cart privileges immediately with no refund. Golf cart rentals cannot be picked up after 8pm. 

NOISE, COMFORT, & NEIGHBORLY CONDUCT:

Quiet hours are from 10pm – 8am.  Please be mindful of your neighbors & keep noise levels to a minimum. Music, TV & voices should not be able to be heard beyond your campsite. You may be asked to leave, with no refund, if we need to speak with you regarding your noise level.

CHILDREN:

All children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent during quiet hours. Playgrounds are open from dawn until dusk. Parents are responsible for the actions and safety of their children. Young children must be supervised by an adult while using the playground, sports equipment, restrooms, showers & laundry facilities.  Children under the age of 16 are required to have a parent at the beach and pond area at all times. Bikes, scooters, one-wheels, etc. must have lights/reflectors on them when riding after dark, no exceptions!

PETS:

TWO pet limit per site. Please call or email the office for current breed restrictions. Guests must present a current rabies certificate at check-in. Pets must be leashed, under control & attended to at all times.  Pets are not to be left alone in a tent or on a site at any time. Owners must clean up after their pets & properly dispose of waste.  Bags & receptacles are available throughout the campground. Excessive barking is not tolerated. Adults must be with children under 16 while walking pets.  Pets are not allowed in any buildings, beach/pond area or on the playground.

BEACH/POND & PLAYGROUNDS:

Beach/Pond is open 7am-7pm. Swim at your own risk. Anyone under 16 years of age must have an adult present while at the beach/pond area. No lifeguard on duty. No smoking or glass bottles allowed on the beach or in the pond. No pets, golf carts, bikes, scooters, etc. allowed on beach. Fishing is not permitted from the swimming area. Playgrounds are open dawn until dusk.

RESTROOMS & SHOWERS:

Restrooms behind the office are locked with a code. Code will be given to all guests at check-in. Children must be supervised when using the restrooms & showers.  Please do not wash dishes in the restroom.  Dishwashing sinks are provided next to the main bathhouse.  We strive to maintain clean bathrooms, please do your part to help maintain the cleanliness. We ask that you please notify the office or security if bathhouses need immediate attention. Please do not flush any foreign objects (diapers, feminine hygiene products, wipes...this includes "flushable" wipes) as they can clog the septic system.

LAUNDRY:

Laundry is open 7am-Midnight.  Please be respectful & do not leave your clothes in the washer or dryer.  We are not responsible for damaged or lost items.  CLOTHESLINES are not permitted.

VEHICLE/RV WASHING:

Vehicle or RV washing or repair is not permitted on the property. 

GARBAGE:

We do not have garbage pick-up at your site.  Dumpsters are located throughout the campground for your convenience. No large, oversized items (furniture, mattresses, TVs, etc.) are to be put in our dumpsters. Violators will be charged a $100 fee.

GENERATORS:

Generator usage is not permitted at any time.

EV CHARGING:

Charging of electric vehicles is prohibited on the property. 

FIREARMS & FIREWORKS:

Firearms & fireworks are strictly prohibited, this includes sparklers & poppers.  Possession or use will result in immediate removal from the park with no refund.

WIFI:

WiFi is offered as a free service to our guests in areas throughout the campground.  This free service is intended for quick internet searches & checking email.  It is not intended for streaming or gaming.  We do not guarantee any site will have WiFi access. We offer modem rentals for $5/day for non-tent sites.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for injury or accidents to campers or their guests or for the loss of valuables of any kind. There will be no refunds given for early departures, inclement weather or if asked to leave due to park violations.

By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not to sue Sandy Pond Campground for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Further, Guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sandy Pond Campground from all losses, claims, expenses and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that Sandy Pond Campground may incur arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Guests further agree to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. Modern America Campgrounds reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant or guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program.

Sandy Pond Campground or its Management bears no responsibility for any loss or damage to any person or property or thing, however caused.

The Management reserves the right to evict any day user, guest, camper, or group of campers for any cause.
