Terms & Conditions
RV PARK RULES
The following rules are applicable to all recreational vehicles (RVs) parked in the Santa Cruz Port District RV Park and the guests/users/owners of the RV units.
SPACE RENTAL
- Proof of insurance and current registration may be required prior to space occupancy.
- All units parked in the RV lot shall have liability insurance coverage. Proof of such coverage may be required with the Rental Agreement.
- Santa Cruz Port District will not be responsible for loss or damage of any kind, and it is mutually understood that the renter hereby releases the Santa Cruz Port District from any and all liability and claims for accident, injury, or property damage resulting from use of facilities. In addition to the foregoing, Guest shall indemnify and hold harmless the Santa Cruz Port District from and against any and all damage, loss, and expense, including but not limited to attorneys’ fees and costs and expenses of litigation.
- Agreement is good for “Dates In/Out” listed above, or a seven-night maximum stay, whichever is less.
- The Port District reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule reservations as needed for management of the RV park and/or the safety of its customers, staff, and the general public.
- The RV host will assign one space per unit, based on unit type, size, and availability. Maximum length allowed is 42’. Reservations will hold a space, but not a particular space number.
- Space rental does not include parking for additional vehicles or other services. Separate fees are collected, and permits are required for additional vehicle parking / other services.
- Fees charged are in accordance with the current fee schedule adopted by the Port District Commission. Fees are subject to change.
- Payment is due in full, in advance of reservation.
- Check in; check out 12:00 PM.
- No refunds for early departures.
- No refunds for no-shows.
USAGE RULES
- Respect quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am daily. Respect RV host’s privacy by not making contact after 9:00 pm or before 9:00 am or entering the host’s RV uninvited.
- RV’s must be backed in, between the lines, with the driver’s side starting at the left side of the assigned space and display a valid parking permit.
- Units must be completely self-contained, including gray water.
- Access to the harbor docks, restrooms, and showers is not granted with RV parking.
- No open fires are permitted. Barbecues, in conventional barbecue containers, are allowed. Be sure to completely extinguish and dispose of coals properly. A coal container is available behind site #8.
- Washing or working on vehicles is not permitted.
- No skateboarding, scooters, or rollerskating are allowed in the RV or harbor area.
- Dogs must be kept leashed, tied up, or contained inside your RV. Dog barking must be controlled and the owner is responsible for cleaning up after their animal.
- RV guests shall maintain rental spaces in a clean and orderly manner and shall not damage the pavement, curb, utilities, sidewalks, or landscape areas. No boxes, containers, equipment, or signs of any kind shall be stored outside of the RV. The RV guest is responsible for any damage caused by the unit, unit driver or guests.
- RV guests are subject to and agree to comply with all applicable Port District ordinances.
VIOLATIONS
Failure to abide by the above rules may result in the imposition of fines and penalties, and/or termination of stay without refund.
