Great sites Clean restrooms

Campsites are always clean as well as the bathrooms. Would be nice to have another bathroom closer to the primitive sites. Everyone who camps there are always friendly.

Very confusing. 3 campgrounds, no one on site to help you find the right spot. Not dump station in the campground we were in. We went to another and dump station was on wrong side and tilted so you were trying to drain uphill. Sign says they are working on a better solution.

The park was well mowed and clean. The price is also another factor. It is a nice getaway!

Great as always. Only thing I would recommend is to have an outdoor utility sink for some basic dish washing.

Peaceful valley, clean bathroom with hot shower, fantastic trails, another wonderful experience there.

we love camping because of nature

The website stated the upper ridge campsites had showers. There was a building that appeared to be showers but it was locked. The WiFi did not work in that area. The bathrooms were disgusting and according to the cleaning log, they had last been checked two weeks ago.

Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because we were on a full hookup site with sewer but the sewer was on the wrong side of the site and no way to pull into the site to use it so we paid for it but couldn't use it.

This was the first time my wife and I stayed at Sidie Hollow and our experience was truly mixed. The grounds were beautiful, and the site (#57) was peaceful. But I have to say that the facilities, especially the toilets across from our site, were absolutely disgusting! I completely understand vault toilets by their very nature being subject to less than pleasant odors, but the overall condition of the above-ground portion was terrible. If the cleaning log was accurate, the facilities weren't touched in nearly a month! When I arrived, the handicapped stall's toilet seat greeted me with the remnants of someone's inaccurate or hurried deposit. And it hadn't been touched in the four days I was there. It would be a major step up if someone literally went in with a hose and sprayed it down with plain water, even once a week. UPDATE - The above comments were sent via email to the Vernon County Land & Water department and their response was that they were going to have their cleaning service address the issues right away. I guess my question would be - why aren't they looking for a new cleaning service as the current one clearly isn't doing their job?!?

Always a fun stay at Sidie Hollow. Site was clean and inviting. The bike and hike trails make for a good weekend. I stay in the upper camp sites because it has less traffic.
