Sidie Hollow County Park Campground — Reviews

We booked 3 nights at the full hook-up site. We were put off by the ratty nature of the campground. Then we discovered we had no cell service, and the campground Wifi was nonexistent, except for immediately next to the empty, dilapidated office. We left before even setting up, even though we had to eat our $120. In addition, the campground bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned this season. The photos on the website are quite misleading. There were a lot of long-term tenants with campers in various states of disrepair.

Great clean and safe campground. DaVern does a wonderful job of keeping it so.

It was very quiet and the reservation process was very easy.

Nice park, but lots of trash on the ground. Bathroom facilities are in need of repair (broken toilet seat, etc).

Everything was great. The only things that could be better is the women's bathroom needed toilet paper and it would be nice to have a bench or shelf in the shower room to put clothes on. Great park with great scenery!

Helpful friendly staff. Good size camp site included both electric and water. Just a few miles from town for things to do as it rained. Nice rocky pad so rain soaked in and didn't end up with a muddy site. Quiet natural area.

I had a few hiccups when I 1st got to the campsite, but the staff there were amazing and very helpful!

Peaceful, beautiful setting. Quiet, easy pull in.

Beautiful location. The trail around the lake was just right. We saw lots of Amish fishing. The long term campers behind us were quite loud even after quiet time which was disappointing but the beauty of this place won out. Very near Viroqua which has some shops and restaurants.

Great little camp group! Enjoyed the quiet and beautiful scenery. We had a full hook up site so no insight to showers and bathrooms but there’s was plenty of others in electric only sites so guessing they were fine. Would definitely go back!
