A quiet campground with nice sites. Hooks ups were easily accessible. The camp hosts were great and Mike was super helpful getting us into our site.

We had Spot #9. We had the MOST amazing view of the woods and trees. The owners were super friendly and made us feel welcome. They provide wi-fi but it can not be used for streaming. And our cell provider, T-Mobile had no service. We were lucky a fellow camper allowed us access through his Starlink. All in all, the site is so beautiful and we loved our time at Sierra Skies.

This park had everything we needed. We are helping hikers on the PCT and this campground is only a couple of miles from the trail.

The scenery was beautiful. The park was small especially the site for 28ft trailer space 1 was ridiculous to fit in. There were plenty of other spots open but was told there’s no power which set the tone of the weekend. There is no wifi that works. It’s not spotty it just doesn’t connect. The town its self was shut down with no power. It was an ok place at best. Nothing I’d ever recommend. Power was off for hours each day. Nothing to do at all beside the creek. Park manager was nice and let me use his personal phone to let my family know we arrived.

Our stay was a wonderful adventure. It’s a small RV park, but quiet and pretty. There’s a swimming hole thats fun for the entire family. It’s also a dog friendly park (must be leashed).

Our stay at Sierra Skies was wonderful. It was a very hot weekend, and the swimming hole was the perfect spot to spend the day. The restroom and shower facilities were very clean. The campground hosts were so kind and went above and beyond to help us have the best stay. We enjoyed Sierra Pines Resort for dinner the first night and attended a BBQ and free concert in their lawn on the second night. We also had lunch at the store across the street. The deli sandwiches and tacos hit the spot. The Red Moose Cafe was also a great lunch stop. Hiking in Lakes Basin is also a must do when you are in the area. Downieville isn’t too far from Sierra City. If you decide to journey that way, be sure to stop by Cold Rush Cafe. They have excellent lattes, ice cream and an old school video game system. La Cocina de Oro Taqueria is a delightful Mexican restaurant right on the river with a beautiful view on their back patio. Try the margarita! You won’t regret it. We hope to be back at Sierra Skies soon!!

I really enjoyed Sierra Skies RV park. The other guests were friendly and also obeyed the rules - “quiet hours” which was nice as we had our baby with us. The waterhole was great and helped us stay cool during the wicked heat! And a shout out to the manager (husband) who helped my boyfriend Mike back-in our trailer to spot #28! Thank you so much - overall great service!!!
