Beautiful and peaceful.

This campground is a hidden gem. The spectacular view of Seneca Lake. The location is excellent and centric to so many wineries and restaurants.

Very relaxed place, staff was friendly and helpful and the view of the lake from our site was beautiful.

Perfect location, near wineries restaurants and so much more. Great views and access to the lake including a beach and boat ramp. Bathrooms and showers were adequate. The only complaints would be that the grass needed mowing badly which added to the mosquitoes and knats. Even with that being said a good value for the money and I would definitely go back.

The campground is very clean, quiet, well maintained, and the bathrooms were spotless. The boat launch is also in great shape. I had site 39 which is huge and boasted incredible sunset views on the lake. I highly recommend this campground! Just remember to bring extra water and electric lines as the hookups are a bit far from the parking spot.

Site was beautiful! Could not get showers warm and since I checked in late I had no access to dump station which cause me a lot of trouble on the way home :(

We have camped at this park for 25 years. This year they removed the trash and recycling from the campsites.

Nice view from our campsite, but it was way over priced. We were not told ahead of time that we would need an adapter for the electricity. Bathroom was filthy and in need of updating, needs more showers, and was out of paper towel frequently. The camp office sold nothing but firewood, so we had to drive out of the campground to get ice, etc. Daytime park office clerk was short with us. We prefer more grass when tent camping. The campground needs dishwashing areas at both ends of the campground, and garbage cans by the dishwashing stations. Overall not worth the higher price to camp here, especially in a tent.

1. Friendly and proactive staff (Thanks to M. for being a good hostess) 2. Relatively clean (cleanest I've seen compared to state NJ/NY/PA campgrounds) Bathhouse (south end) and very functional (water pressure gets a little low in the shower when others are showering, but bathhouse is often empty due to high RV count in park) 3. Being close to the lake is magnificent (stayed at Lakefront Premium 35). Though spot is small, we used a "11 person" tent and felt we had enough space with minivan and car. Short steep path to the lake or walk around to the greenway to get there. 3a. We were able to set up two hammocks using tree-friendly straps although they were barely able to span the distance. 4. Other campers tend to be mature, welcoming and respectful. 5. Location of the campground was very good; located on a scenic road 15 minutes from Watkins Glen and the Walmart Supercenter there. Yes, it was more expensive than state campgrounds, but it felt like a relatively premium camping experience and worth it for our group of six adults (same family).

Simple campsites with amazing views. Leveling is an issue. Some sights are tight to get into. Otherwise peaceful and quiet.
