The owners are super nice and want to be helpful..it's a new campground, so it is very sparse..basically just a field right now..hopefully, they will have the resources to plant trees, etc. The sites are just a little too close and there is a train that runs right behind them- just so you know if you have little kids trying to sleep. The river is right behind the sites which is nice; you can tell they really care and want this to be a nice place.

This campground is really nice in a quaint setting!! The area is very secure with camera surveillance and a well lighted plus a very supportive Staff!!

Campground was very clean , however there were LED street lights that shined right on your site. The restroom were unisex and had both showers and toilets all in one space along with laundry. States 1 mile walking trail, this is not complete nor a mile. Had to request fire ring. And no picnic tables at sites, when asked said sites are to tight for tables. General store only open til 5 pm daily and does not have camping essentials, however there is a family dollar and dollar general right across the street. Located right in town. River float adventure was okay did have a lot of industrial debris along the edges. Staff was very friendly.

The campground was very accommodating and so friendly. Clean bath house, clean grounds, plenty to do, and the sites are spacious. My family really enjoyed our stay.

Loved the river being nearby. Yes, we floated down the river. Cool experience. Travel bus to the racetrack was a cool feature also. Also loved being not too near noise of racetrack.

Great little stop. We stayed for race weekend, it was quiet, peaceful and clean. I was surprised by just how pretty the land was. The owners were very friendly, we'll definitely be returning next race season.

We reserved a pull through site . Site was not available when we arrived . Someone refused to leave our site. No fire ring supplied. Didint have access to the wash rooms for three days bc they lock them and didint give a fob to get in . No one is ever in the office hardly . Mostly seasonal or full timers not much camping going on . No shade anywhere. A refund should of been offered due to the mismanagement of our site . Nice enough people though. Very friendly and apologetic. I'd love to go ba k and. Isit familly again but may not stay here . Park has potential just poor service.

Was an average stay. Quite. A bit pricy for what was offered, ie: no one around and charging premium pricing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Smith River. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Made sure we knew who to call if we had any issues. The campground is back from the road and you could not hear any traffic.

Due to wet conditions, the site needs more stone. Also the lane closest to the creek needs to be wider. Not too happy with the neighbor who started a campfire each night at midnight! They were very noisy too.

Staff was wonderful and sites were very nicely spaced from the other campers. Easy to get in and out.
